My cat, Charlie, had a brain tumor also and had the exact same problems as your Garfield did.
You gave Garfield the best care possible.

Garfield will always be in your heart. I know how much it hurts to say good-bye to a furry member of the family. They bring so much joy and love.

As far as another pet, don't worry about that now. If it is meant to be you will know when it is time.
Right now just take it easy on yourself.

OK - Now I'm a mess - one of my sisters just sent me flowers. I am so blessed to have the two best sisters in the world. They have been so understanding, even though neither of them has ever had any pets. And to top it off, we had to buy wall vases because Garfield always got onto tables and ate flowers! And the cleaners will be here shortly - the last of the paw prints will be off the hardwood floors soon.
