Our friend got Club 33 membership!

We just found out our friend was recently granted membership to Club 33 after over 10 years on the waiting list. We are going to DLR mid-October and he is looking into seeing if he can set up a lunch reservation for us while we are there

Does anyone know the likelihood of getting a reservation at Club 33 with only 1 month notice? I have no idea how things work there (it's all very secretive) so I am trying not to get my hopes up. But, I am SO excited that we now have a connection for future use if this time doesn't pan out

Weekday or weekend? I know Nov. 19th is booked (they misunderstood the day I was wanting...) Week days are easier, weekends tend to be busier. It also depends on how many people you are taking. Surprisingly, sometimes it is easier to get a large party in. I;ve had times when there was nothing open for 4, but I could get a party of 6 in....

Anne: In May, our friend was able to reserve a Saturday lunch in late June for 2. it was wonderful.

By the way, I am UCSB class of 1980. That feels like so long ago. I am reading The New Cool about the Dos Pueblos robotics team right now and it makes me feel so old. -- Suzanne

Surprisingly, sometimes it is easier to get a large party in.

A friend's brother was able to get us reservations for Sun 10/2 last week so yes, last minute ressies can be had! And I am soooo excited - it will be my first time at Club 33!
