Our formal night wear

I finally figured out what we will all wear for our formal night dinner! So I thought I would share. I was going to have the girls wear Princess gowns (costumes). My older DD 8 wanted to be Belle and my younger DD4 Cinderella. I remembering seeing some real pretty costumes at WDW last year. My brother was there so he wrote down phone numbers I could call to place orders. Then a couple weeks ago my younger DD decided she wants to be Sleeping Beauty. I told her "are you sure you don't want to be Cinderella?" She said yes. So we already have that costume, and it's real pretty. Then this week I was going to order my older DD's Belle costume. But then today I came up with a great idea. I thought she could wear her 1st communion dress from last year. I asked her what she thought of that idea and she loved it!!!! She wants to wear the veil too, but I told her how about if we just buy a crown at the store, and she liked that too. Her veil is much too much and long. Would've looked a bit much. DH is taking her dress in this week to be cleaned. I am going to wear a black dress, with some sequins and beads on it. It's not a whole lot of beads, but just enough to sparkle. Unless I can find a different dress, but for now I am not going to rush to find one. DH is going to wear a tux, he will order one to have waiting in our room. So we are all set for our plans for the formal night. I figured the girls can wear the same thing to the Princess breakfast if they want to.

It sounds like a plan! The girls will have a blast! I referred to Formal Nights as 'going to the ball' - seemed to jazz it up a bit!
