It's changed. Again. :scared1: In order

1 - We're heading to NY and DW.
2 - We're heading to DW only, probably with a stop over in LA for a night to break the journey.
3 - Dear Niece might be coming, we'll go to DL for a week.
4 - SIL tells DN that she probably go to DL with us (before our trial trip away in January to the Gold Coast.) We're now going to LA for two nights than at Grand Californian for 6 nights.
5 - DH suggests that SIL should join us. 5 people for Grand Californian not going to happen. $$$, and a rental of points we would need a two bedroom, the one bedroom wouldn't work, trust me.
6 - SIL is coming. Now looking at Park Vue so we can afford it all comfortably.

Wonder what next week will bring...

KylieH - I'm losing it!! Can't keep track anymore!

Is SiL going with you in January or is this September?? Are you only going to DL in January and then also going to WDW in September?

:lmao:

Everything is just for September. One trip only to DL now. We'll leave DW and NY for another year or so.

Ps. The trip in Jan is too the Gold Coast for a week. We were going to see how Dear niece 7 goes away from home for a week, and if her and DD argue too much!!!! I was a bit tired last night so I didn't answer properly...:rolleyes1

Don't worry Kylie - I think that's how all holidays morph! Every time I plan a holiday, how it starts is nowhere near how it ends up!! :goodvibes Just have fun with your planning - eventually it will all firm up! :)

Hi Kylie,
Are you wanting a accomodation as close as possible? We are staying at Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate. It is further away, but still walkable. They have one and two bedroom apartments with full kitchens.

Thanks for the idea Caroline. I did have a look at Residence Inn. Reason behind not being on my list is we want to avoid the buses this time - we used them on the last two trips and this trip will be a bit more rushed, having less time. Last trip DD ended up needing a wheelchair assistance a few times, and a stroller the trip before that, as she has some leg problems.

We may end up changing out mind and decide on using buses, that will open up more choices.

I'd second the recommendation for Residence Inn Maingate. It's my preferred location at Anaheim as well. Takes about 10 minutes to walk and breakfast is included. I know it's more money; but the rooms are pretty nice and breakfast is pretty good as well.

This is so true - our trip in July next year started out to be a trip to WDW and then changed to DL in April and is now DL in July! :rotfl:

Hi,

We looked at the Park Vue for our trip, but I didn't like the look of the floor plans. We would of had the larger sleeping area and my friend and her son would of had the other. I thought that the single bathroom could mean a lack of privacy as the the bathrooms are all connecting to the main area. Hence, why we ended up at Hojo's interconnecting room. So we could shut the doors at night. The location of Park Vue is better though. Good luck with it all.

We've changed again. I think this is no 7 or 8.....

Qantas say "hey we're flying direct to Dallas and we're having a cheap ticket sale.". Ok, not quite like that..

So I have a look and within an hour today everything has changed and DisneyWorld here we come :banana::banana: $5712 for 3A and 2C return on the dates we wanted.

The quick planning now begins. Only 2 and a bit months to work out what to do when for bookings.

Sounds like a great trip hope everything works out.

It all exciting at least the time will go quickly but i hope not to quickly that you forget to make a booking.
