Our flights are booked - $79 each way from Seattle to LAX !

I'm so excited! We just booked our flights for our December trip to DLR and we got a great deal! It will be the first trip for my DS and I during the Christmas season and we are so exciited to go! I was getting a little nervous about the prices of flights but tonight I saw $79 each way through Alaska Airlines (Seattle to LAX). Our total came to only $343 round trip for both of us! Virgin Air had the same price but I've been holding out for Alaska because I really wanted to add to our frequent flyer miles. I am thrilled and relieved that we have our flights booked and now it all seems even more real.

HOW DID YOU DO THAT? I've been stalking the Alaska site trying to score $79 tickets. Everything is up in the $190-$240 range for when we fly. We're leaving SEA on the 20th and coming back on the 24th.

It's your dates. Airfares are not likely to ever be reduced in that time period. They just sell out.
