When we booked, we got a flight from Gatwick to Orlando with American Airways (flight AA-6202 & 6201 on the way back) but I've checked on the Gatwick airport and there are no American Airways flights on there!

Anyone have any clue which terminal we need to go to?

It'll be a code share with another airline. If it's shared with ba it'll be the north. I think it's more likely to be ba than Virgin who fly out the south

Does that mean we'll actually fly with BA then? Coz that's what we thought but when I spoke to disney earlier they were adamant we were going with AA

Are you sure it's not flight number 6206 as there is no 6202 from LGW to MCO.

6206 is a codeshare with BA, from North terminal - leaves at 1.40pm and arrives at 5.55pm.

You will be flying on a BA plane - the ticket is sold by AA and operated by BA.

by the way, AA is American Airlines, not American "airways"..

you may be confusing it with US Airways..

in any case, AA is American Airlines

No, definitely 6202, just found a website (flight mapper.net) that confirmed what you said about BA rather than AA Crazy really, as we priced up going with Virgin, BA & AA and the AA flights worked out about £100 cheaper than BA!

My next question is, when can we actually check into our flights?

Hi
You are right it is the American Airlines 6202 and is the British Airways flight from the North Terminal.
Being BA the check in time is exactly 24 hours in advance , you may hit a snag with online check in as it is a code share flight. I've had that issue before though not with AA/BA it must be said.

Ok thanks for your help

Is there anyway we can prebook our seats? Or is that only available when we check in?

You can choose seats for free 24 hours in advance when you check in. If you want to select before this, BA charge £25 per seat per leg.
