Our FIRST trip to WDW! woohoo!

Hi everyone! I was referred here by a sweet friend who told me this was a great resource for planning our trip. Thus far, her referral was spot on. The information here is invaluable!

I just stared planning our FIRST ever trip to WDW. DH has been once when he was a teen and I've stayed on property and visited Downtown Disney but since I was there for work I wasn't able to explore more. Our children, DD age 11, DS age 10 and DS age 5, have never been and we are so SO excited to go!

We've decided to brave the holiday crowds and we will be visiting Nov 16th-24th. The kids think we are leaving December 26th. We plan to pick them up from school early on the 16th with our luggage and surprise them by heading to the airport a month early for Thanksgiving in Disney! Fingers crossed we don't blow it before then!

I'm still weaving my way in and out of all the information here and attempting to find answers to all my 100's of questions. Thanks to all of you who have shared your input here! I look forward to sharing my countdown with all of you!

Some time memories are better then the reality. And for WDW it's 100 times true. I also cant forget my wonderful memories of WDW when I first visit there.. Enjoyed it a lot..

Sounds like the kids are in for a great surprise. Having done this before I know how hard it is to keep quite and not blow it. I know we almost did a couple times at the dinner table.
