Our first trip to Universal and Sea World

I really enjoyed reading your report and your family sounds similiar to mine. We so enjoy just flying by the seat of pants when we vacation. We fly in from the west coast so we always sleep in (never quite acclamating to Fl time change) and take our time. We haven't done Universal in several years but are leaving 2 weeks from today and are spending 2 nights onsite at HRH and then a week at the Grande Vista. We are doing US/IOA, Discovery Cove, Magic Kingdom and Busch Gardens with hopefully, some time to relax in between!

A couple of questions. We went to the Boardwalk years ago but we came through the gate at Epcot. If we wanted to go there directly without doing Epcot, how do we get there? Is there signs to just the "Boardwalk" and a place for us to park and just walk around or do we head to one of the resort (ie, beach club) or what? Just curious, as I remember it being a fun way to spend an evening.

And, where is Mythos located? We might try that as well.

Thanks again for the report! Very entertaining:)

Sorry...can't help with the Disney question (never been to Boardwalk area). but I'm sure someone else, or the "Disney side" can better help!

Mythos is in Lost Continent area.... After entering IOA, go right (thru Suess Landing). After exiting the other side of SL, Mythos will be on your left (big, stone, rocky looking building). Make sure you check the time they close...off peak times they close at 3pm. Have a fun trip!

Hi! If you want to go to the Boardwalk, just follow the Disney signs there. As you enter the gate to the resort, just tell them you are eating dinner (or lunch or whatever!) at the Boardwalk, and they'll let you in to park. That's what we did anyway, and we had no problems. We parked at the resort and walked down to the Boardwalk area. No charge!
