I am the planner in the family, DH leaves everything pretty much up to me. He was still thinking that WDW was the same as Disneyland. Was in for a surprise.

Mickey Mouse woke us up - I think DH was a tad confused, he couldn't work out who was calling him pal. The look on his face was priceless.

Following everyone's advise we started in Africa with the Kilimanjaro Safari. There was only a 15 minute wait so it wasn't so bad. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, and zebras.

We walked through the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail and saw Druiker, Black and White Colombus Monkeys, a hippo and gorillas.

We rode the Wildlife Express Train up to Rafiki's Planet Watch. On the train ride up we say cheetahs and white rhinos. In the Conservation Station we say a White Face Whistling Duck get an injection in his eye because either a branch to another duck had scratched it. We looked and looked and looked for the Elephant washing station.....oh okay are we gullible or what, it's where we wash our hands, not where the CMs wash the big elephants! How stupid did we feel?

We headed back done to the Africa area and had coffee and a muffin in the Tusker House Bakery.

We walked over to Asia, just as a Flights of Wonder show was starting. We weren't sure what to expect, how exciting can birds be? But we both enjoyed it including a Bald Headed Eagle, an owl, a hawk and an australian Galah - aahh now I am homesick again, but this time for Australia. Maybe we should go home now, before I had anything else to my shopping list!

In the Maharajah Jungle Trek we saw a Komodo Dragon, Malayan Tapirs, Bats, and Tigers.

We decided not to ride the Kali River Rapids, as it was already raining, so we wouldn't dry out and we did not have a change of clothes with us.

In DinoLand USA we waiting about 40 minutes (our longest lineup) for Dinosaur, because as an indoor ride, every man, woman, child and pal mickey in the park was in the queue. But hey at least we were dry and warm.

DH is not into thrill rides (wait until we get to MGM) but I managed to talk him into the Primeval Whirl (15 minute wait) and he came out in one piece, and the Tricera Top Spin (10 minute wait).

Lunch at Flame Tree BBQ. We had a Meal Plus Certificate, and used it to get a smoked beef sandwich with corn on the cob, chili and a large coke, we also got a side of onion rings and we split the whole meal.

After lunch we saw "It's tough to be a bug"(no wait again). We loved this show -we were attacked by hornets, sneezed on by ??? and had cockroaches crawl under our butts!

Then it was character time. I had my photo taken with piglet, Eeyore (my favourite), Tigger, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie and Lilo and Stitch.

We got a Nestle Tollhouse Icecream sandwich - it was very good and was part of our meal plus coupon. Can we have more please?

We finished the icecream with waiting for the Jammin' Jungle Parade. It was not my favourite and as it has been raining on and off all day, and we are now totally cold and wet so we headed back to the resort

After a short nap we were hungry and once again we chose Epcot for dinner. We parked at the Yacht Club and walked to Epcot coming in near the UK Pavillion. The band British Invasion, a Beatles Tribute Band, were playing, so we stood in the park and listened to them finish up their set with The Long and Winding Road. Apparently my husband is not a Beatles fan, he has never heard this song before.

Next stop in our whirlwind tour - Canada. A little bit of home. At least if I get homesick here, it won't require a whole other vacation to fix it. There is a 360' panoramic film called O Canada. It needs updating - they had a shot of Vancouver, with no Canada Place, and they mentioned that the Tower in Toronto is the tallest in the world!

By the time we came out of the movie it was almost time for Illuminations. Now I have read so much about the Cheese soup (and drooled all over my keyboard) on this board I thought we should try some. DH was not so keen, but in we went to Le Cellier and asked if we could have a takeout serving - no problem. 10 minutes later we had two steaming hot cups and two pretzel bread sticks all wrapped up and ready to go.

Found a spot for Illuminations and ate, or should I say inhaled our soup. I need the recipe, and why is this report all about food. Can I not talk about something else!

We were heading back to the car and noticed everyone boarding a boat, what do they know that we don't....obviously I didn't read that part of the board! What was I thinking? By now my DH is making fun of me at everyturn....what did the board say, aren't there any secrets here?

We had a nice, relaxing ride back the Yacht club and then home to bed again.

I don't know why I insist on travelling all the way across the continent to eat and sleep!

Great report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Isn't eating and sleeping some of the best parts of a vacation?

Great report.

Thanks ....sleep...I don't seem to get any sleep during my WDW vacations...

always end up talking about FOOD in Disney.....I think we must of touched each and every food place in the Parks and at resorts......thanks so much for your report......I didn't know we could take out at Le Cellier......my most favorite of theirs is the bread sticks....especially the pretzel ones.....thanks again
