my husband and I are planning to take our kids to Disney next year, can anyone comment on the best time? I hear Monday after thanksgiving, is that true?

There may be more than one *best* time but that is certainly a very good time. We were just there 11/27 - 12/7 and the crowds were not bad at all, and the weather was great (this year anyway, never know LOL) We arrived the Tues. after Thanksgiving. Have a great trip!
