Morning guys! :wave2:

So i've been looking at photos of manatees today - so cute!

It's made me want to go to SeaWorld on our trip in October.

BUT...

It's pretty much both of our first trip (I went once 17 years ago), we are staying at AKL for two weeks, and have our Disney tickets.

We will go to Universal for two days as Jack loves Superheroes and we both love US Hollywood.

Would adding in a Seaworld day also make our trip too hectic? We both have pretty demanding jobs with long hours and this is our only holiday this year, so do want to come home well slept and feeling relaxed...

Should we leave SW for another time, or do you think it's possible to manage it during a more relaxed 2 week break?

Ha! I'm glad I'm not coming on your trip, what about your 'laying round the pool' days?? :lmao:

Only kidding. Personally I think you'll find what you're already planning to be quite enough. Also gives you something to go back for.:thumbsup2

Cool, yeah we definitely need some pool days!! We'll definitely be back in 2011 and want to do Discovery Cove as part of our honeymoon, so we'll get SW in with that.

I think rather than hainvg specific 'laying by the pool' days we'll have days when we only do a morning and our MNSSHP day I'm sure we'll just do the party that day etc.

I'm hoping only our two Universal days will be non-stoppers as really like to take breaks in the middle of the day we did 2 commando days at DLRP last summer and were dead on our feet on the 3rd - certainly don't want to feel like that for 2 weeks!!!

I find Seaworld quite a relaxing park, but because you're definitely going back maybe leave it for next time. I don't think doing all the parks will leave you feeling relaxed and ready to go back to work :)

I say you probably have enough things planned, after all you will need a couple of shopping days;);).

You know you will be back so save sea world for that.

I've been 6 times and still never managed to get to Universal:confused3 as we always have a day at a beach and go on a couple of tours like Kennedy space centre or Daytona etc. Means there's always a reason to keep going back

We went for 2 weeks in September and I was worried about geting 'burned out' from doing too much, but we did all the disney parks, both universal parks, all the water parks, busch gardens and sea world and it was fine - plus we managed to fit plenty of shopping in!

I would highly recommend Sea World, it was one of our favourite parks.

I have decided also that i think we are doing too much . We will do Disney ,IOA,US also SW and Aquatica and if you see my MNSSHP thread it looks like we are also atteding that also.
What shall i give up .2007 when we went did disney ,IOA and US did SW in 2005 but my daughter cant remember much as she was only 2.
We can afford the tickets with lots of hard work but i am not sure if we will have the time as i want as many disney dys as possible so will get 7 day or 14 days disney.
We probably wont go again to florida for another 4-5 years after this holiday.
Help me plan my holiday please.

Torsie 24 funny we will be in Florida the same time as you this year i think we were in DLRP the same time in january or near enough the same time.

To have a more relaxing time at US/IOA you may want to consider a one night stay at a Universal hotel. We did this last year you get FOTL (front of the line) access at both parks, so you can manage all the rides & your favourites over & over. Last year it cost us less to do that than it would have done for 2 days taxis & fast passes (you can only use these once per ride). It is costing more this year due to the exchange rate, but we're still going to do it. We do it about the middle of our trip at the RPR, it's a relaxing resort. We did'nt do Seaworld last year as we thought it tooo much it fit in.

Yep me to, first time we went we visited 11 different parks and went shopping, 2nd trip we did 9 different parks and shopping.

This will be my first trip as an adult (been twice before when I was younger) and we're doing everything too. I have no idea when we'll be able to go back again.

We're doing most the parks, Disney ones, Typhoon lagoon, Universal parks, Seaworld, and I have managed to fit in 6 rest days! I class shopping and a day on I-drive/Kissimmee as rest days! lol You can fit everything in two weeks if you fiddle about a bit. We also have a day at Clearwater with a Dolphin Encounter.

I personally couldn't go to Orlando without going to Seaworld. As much as I love Universal, I'd rather chop that off than Seaworld.

I know I'll adore seaworld!! But I know Jack will absolutely love IOA and also the SImpsons ride, and I want to make sure he really enjoys the trip too, as he isn't as Disney mad as me!

Been sat here thinking all morning and i think we are gonna give seaworld and aquatica a miss. have to tell kids and hubby now!!!!

This is my rough itinerary so far, obviously until i get park hours I can't finalise.

Thu: Arrive AKL about 5pm, explore resort, sleep!!
Fri: MK rope drop (would be great if it was EMH as we'll be up at the crack of dawn with the time diff.! Then easy afternoon, maybe DTD.
Sat: AKL rope drop. Easy afternoon.
Sun: DHS rope drop, maybe WCC dinner then watch wishes and spectro.
Mon: Sleepy morning, then epcot to have a wander and stay for illuminations.
Tue: Sleepy morning, meeting wedding photographers, MNSSHP

Now, after this I still have 8 days....but I do need to revisit each park, and see Fantasmic. We also want to go to disneyquest, TL and BB. And we will have a day with our wedding consultant....

Also the second week will be a lot busier than the first as the Monday is a bank holiday....

I'm thinking weekdays are better for US/IoA/SW.....

I just don't know how to fit it all in.....

Hi Torsie :yay:

I love Seaworld! Its much smaller than the other parks - and because its show based you dont walk around as much so for us it seemed like a quiet day! But as some of the other posters have said there are dolphins and manatees at Epcot :)

Hi Gemma!! Long time no see! :wave2:

I was wondering if maybe SW is less hectic than the other parks....oich this is tricky!!

we normally do universal both parsk and sea world and laods fo shopping as well in two weeks

We saw mantees in their natural habitat while waiting for a space shuttle launch at titusville last feb and they were so nice
