I have been reading these boards for awhile, and have received valuable information from all of you experienced DISers and frequent WDW visitors!! We have booked our first trip Home with DVC at BLT for May 2010 for 7 days, YIPPIE!!!
However, at the 7 month mark were going to try and switch to AKV for the kids.
We plan to go to the parks 3 or 4 days while there. I was looking at ticket prices, and the fact that well be back there in 3-4 years (planning DCL for 2011, we all LOVE DCL!!). I am planning on buying the 10 day no expiration tickets to avoid future price increases. From experience is this the right thing to do??
We also plan to try and spend a day at Sea World; however we are flying to WDW from NJ and didnt plan to rent a car. I just heard today that Disney has buses that will take you to and from Sea World, but they dont publicize this information. Does anyone know if this is true?? Or who you contact to make those arrangements??
We are planning to eat breakfast in the room, go to the parks in the AM while its cooler out, then return to the room for lunch and a dip, returning to the parks at night, again when its cooler, to enjoy the parades, fireworks, etc., and were not sure if well eat dinner out or in. If you were planning to take a DS age 6, and a DD age 2, to a special meal which would you recommend?? And which other restaurants, which may not have anything special except good food, would you recommend??
Any other great recommendations you can make as to what to see or do with kids our age, without draining them to the point that they wont enjoy it, would also be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks All!! We cant wait to come home for the first of many times!!
