Hey everyone!

I am so excited I cant wait till we finally get to the Fort!!! I have loved reading all the diff posts and seeing pics of the campsites! Its just getting me even more hyped up for the trip!

We'll be checking in 3-29 for the week... "We" being Me, DH, and our 4 DS's ages 2,4,7,10. Actually it wil be my 4yo Birthday on the day we check in so I guess he will technically be 5 :-) Given the occasion, our site will probably be decked out with all sorts of B-Day goodies :bday:

DH cant wait to take out his new golf cart too... he's worse than the kids...

Oh, my parents will originally be with us too, but DH and I are taking bets on how long my Mom lasts before she heads for the nearest hotel :rotfl: I'm guessing she'll last the first night, DH says middle of the 1st night so we'll see...

Anyone else be there during that time frame?

I come in on Thursday and leave Monday. I'm bringing my brothers family which consists of his DW, DD, DD and DS. My nephew turns 4 on St. Patty's Day and this will be his 1st trip to WDW. Trying to decide if we should drive to the TTC and ride the monorail in or ride the boat over. There's something about riding the monorail over and going thru the Contemporary if you ask me.

Which model is your Cougar? We bought a Cougar 318SAB last fall and love it. We used it in October and so far have had no problems with it.

Mine is the 310 SRX Toy Hauler. It has just enough room to haul a golf cart, 4 wheeler and a dirtbike or what have you.

We will be there from March 27 until April 3rd! It will be me, DH and DS2! Our first time to stay at the Fort! We are very excited! We'll be in a premium site..that was all that was left for those dates. We also have the Deluxe Dining Plan, so we won't be cooking too much! But, I would like to spend an evening at the Chip and Dale Singalong and see the movie!

We saw the floor plan when we were looking and it is very nice. I am getting a little nervous about our trip as I haven't back this rig into a spot yet. Our seasonal site is a pull in site and the only time we traveled with it last fall we had a pull-thru site. Some of the loops are a bit tight at FW so I just hope I don't tie up traffic for hours while I back it into our site. I am ok at backing trailers but this is our first 5th wheel and it behaves a little different than a TT.

We were debating on wether or not to do the dining plan this trip cause I wasnt sure I wanted to deal with cooking and all that while on vacation- but then figured we're used to tent camping and really roughing it w/o even having running water at most places we go- so having a camping with all the luxuries of home- cooking wouldnt be too bad... I figure I'll precook what i can, and for the rest- I'll bring along the trusty ol' crock pot! I have to admit, I got a lot of great ideas from the camping recipies thread too :-)

Also, we did get the annual passes this year, so I dont have to worry bout rushing through all the parks day and night so we see everything etc... so we decided against the dining plan and figured we'd just go with the flow and relax... hang out around hte Fort and maybe just once I wont need a vacation when I get back from my vacation

Though we did book dinner at Crystal Palace for my DS's b-day dinner and I get to hang out with my namesake :tigger: I wanted to do the HDDMR too, but just cant afford it for this trip...maybe next time around...

I'm really looking forwrd to just hanging around the Fort and meeting up with ay other Dis members that are there! Feel free to stop by, say Hi and have :drinking1

:thumbsup2 We have two sites reserved for 3-29 to 4-9 - eleven nights at the most wonderful place on earth!!! I'm traveling with my DH, little dog, daughther, son-in-law (his first visit EVER to Disneyworld!!!) and 10-1/2 month old grandaughter. We can't wait! I'm having a hard time sleeping already! I'm so excited to pull our motorhome out of storage and see some GREEN!!! I've had enough of frigid temps and snow! :dance3:

This will be my entire family's 1st trip to Disney except for me- but the last time I was there, there was only Magic Kingdom and Epcot and I was 8 years old! So I guess its kinda like a first for me too!!!:yay: I am getting on DH's nerves already cause I cant stop talking bout the trip or shopping and planning :-) DH and I will be going off property for the day on Tuesday while my parents stay at the Fort with the boys. For Valentines Day, he booked me a day at Discovery Cove- so not only do I get to spend a week at Disney (easily the best place on earth) but I get to go swim with dolphins too!!!!!

I have been trying for years to get a trip planned for us to get to Disney- easily the last 10 years- but we never made it...Now we're about 2 hours from the World, have Annual passes and also discovered how great it will be to Camp there too!!! Can it get any better? Well- I guess if I lived there it would be better...

Anyone want to get in on the poll of how long my mom (whose idea of "roughing it" is to stay at a hotel without room service) lasts in the pop up? I say she'll make it through the first night- DH thinks she'll head for the nearest hotel in the middle of the night.... :rotfl:

Hello! We will be there from Sunday 3/29 until Sunday 4/5. It will be me, DD19, DD18, DS 6, and possibly my mom. My premium annual passes expire on March 31 so we will only do Disney parks the first couple of days, after that we will use our Sea World/Busch Gardens passes for the rest of the week, and explore the fort!

We will be there THIS Friday! Staying at Old Key West DVC this time though. Long weekend visit to support our Daughter, Lori, who is running in the Disney Princess 1/2 Marathon next weekend:cool1: Wish her luck!:woohoo:

Hello fellow Spring Breakers..!

We will be arriving on Saturday, 3/28 and pulling out the following Saturday 4/4. We have a premium site reserved, along with the DDP again, and will be meeting up with my in-laws (staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas), my parents (staying at CBR), and a few other Bellbrookians...

Me, the lovely DW, and DD11 and DD8...

It's in the 20's again here, and really starting to get on my nerves...

Disbuf - dont worry too much about the backing. Most of the sites at The Fort are "angled" to make it easier to get into. Last years trip was our first with our fiver, and like you, I was a bit nervous about making a mess of things. It only took me about 3 tries to get it back where it needed to be (and our site wasnt angled). We had a 32ft. TT before, and yes the fiver does track a bit differently, but it is really easy to get used to, and now I find its even easier to back than the old trailer. Take it out and practice if you can...
