After our sake tasting, DH and I went in search of DM to tell her what we wanted to do for her. This woman was carrying a massive amount of items. Aye! Wish I had gotten a picture of it. We told her to take a break from shopping and to come with us because we wanted her to pick out two oysters. There was a lot of people around this area watching and thought we would be here forever, but luckily we were second in line so not much waiting. I had read on the boards that you should pick the ugliest and hairiest oysters there. So while waiting, she went in search of the traits. Our number got called and the show started! Let me just say, this girl is SO HAPPY! DH even asked another CM later if this was how she is outside of work and she told him that shes like this 24/7. Super cute!
DM picked her two oysters
She talked to DM and told her what she was doing, but it was kind of hard to understand what she was saying a lot of the time
She also taught the crowd how to 3, 2, 1 in Japanese and made it easy for us. She pointed to the sky and said sun for 3, pointed at her knee for 2, and scratched herself as if she was itchy for 1. So as she was opening the oysters she would have everyone say, Sun, knee, ITCHY!! (p.s. you probably already know this, but this is not how you spell the numbers in Japanese. LOL Just thought Id point that out)

And the opening of the second pearl
A 7 1/4mm pretty white one!
And then she announced to everyone what she picked and did some type of chant
DM loved her pearls!
DH was in charge of helping DM pick settings for her pearls while I went outside and fed DS.
I was only gone for like 20 minutes and when I came back in, DM was back in front of the same CM doing the ceremony again! I came right at the end. DH told me that DM wanted to try and get another white pearl so she could make a pair of earrings. She ended up getting another white pearl, but it was slightly bigger than the other white one but we couldnt tell much of a difference. So DH picked out a VERY nice necklace setting for DM and he let DM pick out a setting for her pearl earrings. We had to come back a few hours later but here are the finished products
As we were leaving Japan, look who we saw!
And on our way to Morocco we went!

so excited for it, we got a guidebook for Boston a few days ago - I can't put it down!

Probably not that many, but you get the idea. Honestly, that's the one thing i'm looking forward to about getting older is traveling more. Well, at least hopefully!
He'll be on frosting in no time.
