Our First Suprised Trip to the World!!! ~PART ONE~

Hello every one!!! This is me DD (14) my mom my dad my big brother(15) and my little brother (12).We are all from Spokane WA.

In 2007 I saw a commercial about WDW. I was enchanted by it. I had never gone before, and knowing just how much i loved going to Disney Land when i was younger, i decided (just for fun) to go to WDW's website. Before I knew it my mom pulled up a chair and was so into it!

It never came to my mind that my mom was considering the fact of going.... I thought we were looking at the website just for fun.

After that night i soon forgot about WDW and started thinking about our yearly trip to Seattle. Before I knew it, it was the night before we would take the six hour drive to Seattle. It was about 11:00 pm When we all got packed. And as I was falling asleep I had this MAGICAL feeling inside.

Earlier, I had told my mom that I wanted to leave the house early in the morning (maybe like 7:00 or something. I'm not a morning person). Surely enough when she woke me up it was 3:00 am!!!

I still wasn't fully awake by the time we all got down stairs....until my parents said, "Kids, we're not going to Seattle... we're going to Disney World!!!"
My brothers and I were so speechless. To this day I still have no words to describe the feeling I had. We were finally going to the happiest place on earth!!! (for two whole weeks!!!)

While we were driving to the airport my mom and dad told us all the stuff that they had to do in order to keep it a secret... Like once all of us kids fell asleep, my poor mom had to repack all of our things for two weeks instead of a couple days. I was amazed that my parents could keep a secret like that. Who cared though... I was finally going to Walt Disney World!!!

We arrived at the airport. We flew Delta Airlines (which i love!!) Our plane took off at 6:00 am and we finally got to Florida at 4:45 pm. From the airport we took the Magical Express Bus to our hotel, the POFQ.

One of the things that i regret doing, is not taking more pictures (like our hotel)... but whats done is done right?

thanks for the tip!!! I guess i need ten posts to be able to have pictures. So i stayed up late last night, posting on peoples threads. So i think I'll start writing part two now!!!

OUR FIRST SURPRISED TRIP REPORT ~PART TWO~

The funny thing was, when i was looking at pictures of POFQ just for fun... I thought it was the most ugliest resort... So my mom was afraid to tell me where we were staying. But as soon as I got there, I fell right in love with it. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!! Oh and I really loved the music around the resort.

We had dinner reservations at the Teppanyaki Dining Room in Japan at Epcot. But when we got to our hotel room... there was a message on the phone. After my mom listened to it, she came back to us with a sad face "Our dinner reservations have been canceled!" So then my mom made a quick call and they gave us a couple of options of where to eat. We chose the Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco at Epcot instead.

After we were finishing up our yummy dessert, we started to hear fireworks and music outside. So we hurried up and payed for our food (with free dining!) and got to see IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. It was soooo cool!! (if you haven't seen it this is what happens) While fireworks are booming over your head you watch this globe light up and glide across the water! (by the way Morocco has a great view of the show)

Then we returned to the POFQ. We all slept like logs!

Stitch became my moms favorite character because he would wake her up with a call every morning . After Stitch woke my mom up on our first morning, we all got ready to go to Magic Kingdom!!!

We ate breakfast at the POFQ.... And sometimes since we had free dining, my dad would use a snack credit for a box of donuts or some kind of breakfast pastry to bring back to the room. It was a quick and easy way to eat our breakfast. YUM YUM!!!

My mom was worried that we might get sick from riding roller coasters all day. (which i love!!) So she had us take some medicine stuff to help us not get motion sickness. I forget what it was called. Oh well!

After we ate our breakfast we caught a bus to Magic Kingdom. I was soooooo excited to walk down Main Street, and see a big, and beautiful castle!!!! And as soon as I did see that castle... I knew that I was in the right place!!

This is an awesome ride, but I like Space Mountain better.

My little brother's favorite ride...
My little brother had a lot of medical issues when he was a baby. He is better now, but some things stayed with him... like scars on his belly from having a liver transplant.The poor little guy is behind a little in school, but we are there for him all the way. Another thing is separating reality from fiction. For example, he doesn't do well with intense or scary rides. So he hardly wanted to go on any rides at all. When we got back from our trip,we asked him if he wanted to go back to WDW. And he said he didn't want to. That's ok, because no offense, but we must have spent at least a day in the bathroom with him.

I love that you're writing a report for your family! I should have my son do the same for us when we go in January (he's turning 13 next week)...

As for the castle pic, did you move it or rename it after it was posted? You may need to go back into your photobucket account and retrieve the IMG tag, and replace it with that.

OK, so we spent the day at MK. At 5:30 we had dinner reservations at Cinderella's Castle!!! (I was so excited) So while we waited in line, a waitress would come and ring a bell and say "Royal Party of Smith, your table is ready" (or whatever their name was) Every time the waitress would come down those grand stairs, I was sure that we would be called. It seemed like forever!!! But we got to take a picture with Cinderella, that was kinda fun!

But finally our table was ready....

This is after dinner... (the boys would get swords , and the girls would get wands , if you ate there.)

I loved eating at Cinderella's Castle! I would so do it again! The food was good, a show was put on by the Mice and the Fairy Godmother. (It was very cute.) And our waiter would call the girls "princesses," like I would tell him what I wanted from the menu, and he would reply "Yes princess." It was so cool!!! I recommend eating there.

Since we had Park Hopper Tickets, we went for a little while to Animal Kingdom. Since it was getting late we didn't do much there, but we did do alot of sight seeing.

After we returned to our hotel (the POFQ) we decided, since we were close to the dock, we would take the boat over to Downtown Disney. We did this almost every night. It was really fun!!!!

We would usually get up at around 7:00 am, and usually go to bed at around 11:30pm-12:00 am. We got so tired!!! Sometimes, we would go back to our hotel and swim or nap. The POFQ had an awesome pool. My mom would get a Vanilla Coke in her mug, and I would get half punch half Sprite in mine.(it was really tasty) One night my mom and I went and got our drinks and sat in the hot tub. Now that was sooooo fun!!!
