Our First of Hopefully Many Disney Vacations

Just want to wish you a great first family trip to Disney We will be getting there one day before you arrive. We are staying at Fort Wilderness and cant wait to see the chipmunks at the campfire. I'm sure you will have so much fun suprising (sp) your kids with this trip. Also your thread with what you learned today is very cool. Maybe we will see you at the campfire, if so we'll have a cold beer for you!!

Ooh, I hope you guys have a blast on your first trip to WDW as a family! Looking forward to your PTR. We'll be in World at the same time (8/23-29). You guys are going to have a blast!! I think it's great you're keeping it a surprise for the kids. Make sure to capture their reactions -- that'd be the greatest part about it!

ooooooo...I REALLY wouldn't put 3 and 4 year olds on Dinosaur without checking it out yourself first.My 21 year old is still afraid of it. We ride it several times a year as a challenge to her to keep her eyes open. It is incredibly loud, jerky and the dinosaurs are huge and come right at you..lots of screaming, etc. Our first Disney trip 9 years ago, the very first ride my 3 year old son rode was Dinosaur and unfortunately, it scared the crap out of him so bad he was afraid and suspicious of all rides until he was about 8. It Is a great ride, but intense. Last trip, I sat next to a dad and his 4 yo and the boy loved it. In 20+ trips, he's the only one that age I've seen though. Have a great trip. BTW, we are going the exact same days as you,staying at ASSp.
