our first ever wdw trip

Hi guys been back two weeks now and only just got round to writing this sorry
And never wrote a trip report before so it’s no good I’m sorry

Day 1
we flow with first choice and had the standard seating and I have got to be honest the flight was very good, the food wasn’t bad, the staff friendly good choice of movies and TV shows the only thing I would say is that you do really need to pay for upgrade film package (£5) to get the most out of it because you can’t start the movie from where you want otherwise

Picked the car up from alimo this didn’t go so well the bloke was very rude because I wouldn’t upgrade and was very pushy the car was ok but not great felt like I got a bit mislead when I booked

the drive from the airport to the hotel (CSR) was a bit scary due to tiredness, never drove a auto and never drove anywhere part from England but I got the hang of it and loved it would do the toll roads again though

Day 2 (magic kingdom)
Well what can I say it’s everything you know it will be IMO Paris magic kingdom is much nicer not sure why though?

Good things
Splash Mountain
Laughter floor was so good could of just keep doing it all day
Doll whips where worth the flight and the whole holiday lol

Bad things
I didn’t like Space Mountain I thought it was very rough and really did hurt
The island in the middle wasn’t very good
The stitch ride wasn’t very nice

Also one thing was maybe I wouldn’t do this on the first day again because we didn’t get time to relax as we was sort in a rush mode being wanting to get everything done

Day 2
We just stayed at the hotel watched TV and relaxed

Day 3 Hollywood studios
this day was such a surprise ask me what I thought about this place before I went and I only wanted to go in ride rock n roll coaster then toy story marina then get the hell out of there but it turned out so much of it was good

Good things
American idol (I hate x factor etc)
TSM
RNRC
The ABC cafe (nice relaxed courter service)

Bad things
Not getting the guts to ride tower of terror (I hate drops)
The sounds dangerous show just needs to be shut down
The cue for TSM 60mins the longest wait of the whole holiday lol and after that it never went under 80 mins

Day 4 water park TL
wow the themeing was sooooo good loved it

Good thing
Shark reef I did it about 6 times I think
Wave pool which spent a good hour in lol I’m a former surfer and pure water baby

Bad things
Couple of rides where a bit rough but not too bad

Day 5 Island of adventure
I have to say I love this park love hulk love the themeing and I found the layout a bit easier to follow then the two Disney parks so far

We bought the fast pass and it was worth every penny even though no ride was longer than 20 mins apart from HP which was 50 mins but just made sense to me

Didn’t go much on HP world but did like the ride and the dragon ride but I’m not a harry fan and it was annoying how busy it was but we knew it would be

Good things
HULK full stop lol
Duelling dragons

Bad things
We did the water rides at the end of the day and spent the whole drive home soaked lol
The staff I found a bit rude and just doing their job


Day 6 epcot
before I went I was dying to get in to this park but to be honest it was a bit of a letdown I’m not sure why though found it very hard to work your way round the first part of park

But I did think it was such a beautiful park but world showcase was so busy and we didn’t get in there till late so was packed

Test track
Mission space

Bad things
World showcase (next time I would take lots more money and more time)

Day 7 blizzard beach, horse ride and gator land
Horse riding was ok but very dear for what we got the only good thing was the two girls who took us they were great

Blizzard beach was lush but we sort of rushed it because I wanted to fit in gator land which I’m glad we did as it was great and such a nice lil family park

Day 8 animal kingdom
Yet again the theming was good but hard to work round it’s tough to be a bug needs huge warning everywhere because we had so many kids screaming and running out lol

Good things
EE was such a good ride loved it so much well part from the bells in the line that everyone was ringing
The sarfi (my Nan really did think I had gone to Africa when I showed her the pictures and no she is not mad lol)
Tough to be a bug
Lion king show (so lucky we nearly missed this as we have done the one in Paris twice but it was so different)

Bad things
dinosaur I’m a bit gutted we waited for this wish we could of done EE again instead to be honest think the whole dinosaur area is not needed

Day 9 Tampa
We had planned on going to a beach on this day but we couldn’t find one anyway in Tampa lol no idea how, but we went shopping and went to marina and had a nice chilled day

Day 10 discovery cove
God it was such a good day we did the dolphin swim and had a great day and the memories will live with me every day one word of a warning the ultimate package isn’t worth the price

Day 11 sea world
we arrived nice and early just to find out believe wasn’t on because of the baby but we didn’t mind as we got to see a 2 day old baby whale lol this day was a very a hot day

Loved kraken but didn’t go too much on manta which was strange because I love air at Alton towers before the holiday I said I wasn’t going to ride kraken but ended up doing it twice pretty much back to back lol

Good things
Kraken
The cat and dog show which I think is the best show I have ever seen and really upstaged the show at universal studios lol
Baby whale (so cute)
The pirate at the sea lion show one of the best things of the holiday he was so funny

Bad things
The heat hit me hard at this park
Manta bit of a letdown found it a bit rough

Day 12 unrisval studio
I had been looking forward to this day so much because I’m a massive tna fan and finally got to see it live

Was a bit gutted HRRR was shut but from what we got told we were lucky that we didn’t ride it

Good things
TNA (loved watching it got to meet a few people as well just made my holiday lol and also nice to meet a few local people)
Mummy ride just didn’t know what it was going to be but god it was good

Bad things
TNA ok let me explain I loved it but I got very annoyed as a lot of none wrestling fans where in there and it could of ruined it also I think it’s the thing holding the company back and the cue and wait was just a nightmare needs to be planned out better but everything else was just great lol

Day 13 shopping
Just spent the day chillin and shopping

Day 14 flight home
Oh my god it was cold when we got back and have been very grumpy sense we got back lol

Summary
Holiday of a life time we did so much but still got so much more to do next time

Things to do next time
Bit more time on holiday
Spend a bit more time in the hotel as it was so nice
Blue man group
Maybe re plan how we did things

Not to do next time
Maybe discovery cove just because of the price
Sea world I loved it but maybe not another to go back to

Well, you did a rather good job with your first trip report and I think you should write another one after your next trip. You shared your opinions about things for which you had strong feelings and that's always interesting. I would like to have known who went with you and if they agreed with your assessment of things. Personally, I'm interested in your comparison of the two Magic Kingdoms you have visited, so if upon reflection you think what it was that seemed different to you at WDW, please, add to your report. the main difference was the size what i would say is bigger is not always better

paris in my opion is just a nicer layout and a bit more beautful, would say wdw the staff and food are much better but paris is just so nice and realxed which makes it feel more magical to me

wdw has a couple of better rides like splash moutain but overlly paris just pulls it better
