yeaaaaaa we departed the day after my b-day so the first night for desert I ordered cake...they knew it was my b-day the night before so they brought out more cake and then gave me ice cream...and dw had ordered a cake to be in the stateroom when we got there....i was about to explode after eating so much cake the first night. Now I have to figure out a way to run off all the calories so I can eat them back on at Christmas lol

I love cruising too - isn't it the best? I used to go every other year with a group of friends - 13 trips in all. Unfortunately, they've moved on, and with things the way they are, I won't ever be able to cruise again. But .... there's always the lottery!

I got my parents into cruising too and now they go on 30 day cruises.

Norwegian Dawn to the Bahamas & Bermuda

Disney Magic to St. Thomas & St. Maarten

Royal Carribean Monarch of the Seas to the Bahamas (that was this year in July)

Next July will be Carnival Jewel.


Can't wait. (my boys actually like cruising better than Disney now, SSSSHHHH...don't tell anyone) LOL

We are going on the same cruise you were on. Our sail date is 14 Dec from Port Canaveral.

Agree with the other posters that cruising is better than a land based vacation.

Thanks for the memories. My DH and I went for our 35th wedding anniversary on "The Freedom of The Seas" in August. You are right it was awesome.

I love cruising, I must have gone on almost 20 cruises in my lifetime, most of them on Carnival, although Carnival thinks it's only been 9. But I started before they were keepign very good track of them. They say if I can find some pictures with the names of the ships, they can add them, but I honestly don't care all that much. I started cruising when I was around 5, it was my parent's favorite way to vacation with us kids, because they could basically dump us in the kids center, we had fun, and my parents could do whatever they wanted.

Now that I'm older, I cruise without my parents. I'm going on one leaving Dec 26. Can't wait, they really are a lot of fun. Never been on Royal Caribbean though, although I've always wanted to. But the times of year when I can go, they always cost a lot more, so I never end up going.

Outstanding video, really fun! We'll be on the Navigator of the Seas in January (surprising the husband, he doesn't know yet ) and we are SO excited!

I have been on 3 DCL, 6 RCI's, 1 NCL and 5 Carnival. That is 15 cruises and I love to cruise. We have another one booked for July. We are cutting back because of the economy but it is my favorite vacation.
