Our first cruise ever and the best 12/13

My husband,boys 6 and 9 and my mother just returned from the 12/13 eastern disney cruise.......What a great time. Took us about 40 min from checking our luggage to getting on the boat. Great food. Our servers, Tommy and Lorraine were wonderful, gave us anything and even stuff off the menu. My oldest son wanted a cheesburger and wala it was there. Also added shrimp etc from other entres in addition to what we ordered. Our 8th floor patio room was beautiful, always kept neat and clean with extra towels, ice and cute towel animals curtisy of Mario. Character meetings everywhere. Quick lines for them. Long lines for specialty pictures but well worth it, they are beautiful.

Disney goes above and beyond customer service: My mother's cabin was noisy, customer service upgraded her from an inside to a port hole and called to make sure she was happy, also moved her stuff in minutes. Got paint on my shirt looking over the railing during a tour, they cleaned it and gave me a gift certificate to get a new shirt. Then called again to make sure I was satified.

Palo was wonderful, should not have had breakfast that morning!

Shows were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly.

Embarkation, perfect. We sat down for breakfast at 8 am, walked down to where are luggage was, the man asked our room number, gathered our bags and carry ons, walked us through customs and we were in our car driving by 8:45 couldnt ask for more

Nobody who sails with Disney sould have any complaints. Its Disney, they do it the Disney Way! We are Satisfied compleatly

We did not sign up for any excursions, in fact all were canceled at castaway cay because of the wind. Everyone got refunds. Since it was our first cruise, our goal was to enjoy the ship and the ports of call. We first went to St Marten. We followed Clydes advice and shoped at his recomended stores. Buy all of your perfume here!! 50 percent off. Large Bottle of Nina Richi $36, Shalimar $32. Prices were only $!0 off USA prices at St Thomas. Bought cigarets here, much cheaper than St Martin but did taste different. Made in europe. Went to Linenes Galore $65 for10 seat table with 12 napkins, Wait till St Thomas, you can get similar for $35-40. I bought a beautiful tanzanite and diamond ring at diamonds international, St Martin. Just stand there, they will reduce the price. Also have darling hubby stand outside and pretend to look for him for approval. The price continues to go down!

Noticed my stone on my ring was loose in St Martin, went to Diamonds international . Talked to the manager and he had the ring repaired and delivered to Clyde, no charge and I didnt have the original recipt.

Cordone Jewely, the largest jewely store in st Thomas is a must. Bought a Tanzanite and diamond earing set there, great deal. Alchohol prices great in St Thomas, Reis. But buy last, Disney does not alow delivery to ship by the stores
