Our family's 6th trip to WDW but so many firsts. UPDATE 7/2 MY HUBBY IS HOME!!!!!!!!

You just reminded me of something else I need to do before we leave :rotfl: I keep procrastinating on the photo pass! I also need to get some body glide too! LOVE LOVE LOVE your autograph books! You could probably sell those online too! I know I would buy one for every year we went!
Your Kiddo's are so cute too and your daughter's smile looks very catching!

I was hemming and hawing on the photopass, but I decided to do it ... then hopefully I can enjoy more and not have to stress about having my camera out every second!

I have never used the body glide before ... Since we are going in July, I will probably slather it everywhere :rotfl2:

I am really happy how the autograph book came out! Can't really sell them though because I snagged the images from google images pretty much LOL Plus some digi scrapbooking sites that are not for commercial use...

and thanks for the comment on the kiddos  We like em quite a bit hehe!

I LOVE the autograph books - they are great!!

I ordered a baggallini too - and almost got the tomato but ended up with a slate blue. Do you know which style yours is? Be careful if there are any magnetic closures, the one I had last year demagnatized our park tickets constantly. I will post a picture of mine when it gets here.

You reminded me of the Glide, I need to get more!

Hmm I am not sure about any magnetic closures ... I will check it out! I do have a lanyard too with a little zipper pocket ... might wear that too.

I have a few things I need to take photos of and share here ... the lanyard, some pins I got, the journal I bought ...

I am getting SO excited!!!!

Originally we were set to leave Disney on July 11th and travel back to Georgia :sad1: ... BUT, I did a little investigative work on the Sea World website and found a good deal for the Doubletree Hotel at Sea World ... they have a military special going on, so I booked two nights there ...

We will check out of Pop at 11am and head over to the Doubletree Hotel! Just plan to swim, relax, etc .... go out to eat wherever my hubby feels like eating... and get an early night because the next day we will be hitting up Sea World!

So Tuesday July 12th, 2011 we will head to Sea World. I chose the Doubletree Hotel because it is an official hotel of Sea World and has some pretty good perks! First, free transportation (though you do have to pay parking at the hotel itself... grr!) ... also, you can get early access to the park on certain days, and the 12th is one of those days! Lastly, you can get a complimentary front of the line queue pass for unlimited uses when staying at official hotels! This is perfect for my roller coaster lovin' hubby!

I also plan to do the all you can eat dine plan (Ends up being around $80-90 for us all but since we will be at the park all day, it will be worth it).

So that is my newest update!

Here we are in November 2009, our last time at Sea World!

How fun - it is great you can extend your trip!!! Sounds like a really good deal too.

The tickets to sea world are free and the hotel was $64 a night and that is queen beds! Can't beat it!

Debating whether to tell the hubby ahead of time or just surprise him when we are 'leaving' ...

hmm...

hmm...

That is a terrific deal! Does your husband have to go back to Afghanistan after your trip?

So I decided to see if I could get a breakfast reservation for Hollywood and Vine on the 9th ... and I found one! So I cancelled our 12pm lunch ADR there and we now have a 9:15am breakfast ADR! Perfect :)

So new game plan will be to get there for EMH, ride TSM and then FP it ... then ride ToT and/or RnRC.

Then head to H&V, eat and then probably do some shows etc and get fast passes as they become available.

I am not sure if we will do Star Tours or not ... no one in our family is a big fan so I think we can skip it. Leaves more time to get all the shows in plus the meet and greets.

Also, more time for RnRC and ToT for DH and me haha!

Can't leave without a few photos! These are from DHS in 2009! Sammie was 5y4m and Alex was just turned 2yo!

So for the last 5 nights leading up to our trip, my husband will be home ... so we will be doing Disney theme nights each night! I started planning them... subject to change LOL

June 30th

Tonight will be one of the Toy Story movies (whatever one the kids want...) This *should* be the day my hubby gets home, so depending on his flight arrival, I may watch TS1 and TS2 with the kids earlier in the day (to keep us all sane and occupied!) and then do TS3 for dinner once my hubby gets home... just depends on the schedule and such.

Food will be homemade rocket ship pizzas with whatever toppings everyone wants and green alien cupcakes for dessert.

July 1st

Tonight will be Cars (my DH has not seen it and we plan to take the kids to see Cars 2 the next day, so he has to see it first!!)

Dinner will be 'drive in' food ... cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes!

July 2nd

Tonight will be Lady and the Tramp... I'm pretty sure my DH never saw this and I don't think my kids have either ... it's a Disney classic and a MUST see!

Dinner will be spaghetti and meatballs of course! Along with some salad and probably garlic bread too.

July 3rd

Tonight will be Tarzan ... I tried to keep the movie choices 'gender neutral' and not all princesses ... the kids will be watching DVDs in the car on the way to Orlando, so they can watch others then ...

Dinner will be Jane's Cottage Pie.

July 4th

Tonight will be Alice in Wonderland (the cartoon version). We are not planning to do anything for 4th of July since we will be leaving early the next morning, so just a regular night for us ...

Dinner will be an English tea party ... small sandwiches (probably ham/cheese, tuna *for me*, PBJ) ... juice boxes wrapped in a wrapper that says 'drink me', round sugar cookies with 'eat me' written on them... also probably some sort of crisps (err chips for all of us Americans!)

UP NEXT: the gifts! I bought the kids little gifts to have each morning when they wake up ... starting on the 1st and the last one opened the morning me leave!

I got the kiddos little gifts that they can use on our trip and they will get to open something each morning the 1st-5th ...

1st: A tank top for Sammie to wear to MK on our CRT night (she won't wear her princess dress the whole day)

2nd: A new dress for Sammie to wear on our last MK day ... hoping it fits her ok!

3rd: New Mickey Mouse head glow wands ... they play music too! First image is a video... We also have glow bracelets but those will just get packed.

4th: New beach towels and water bottles for each of them. These bottles are the BEST ever! Sammie has two other ones ... they stay SUPER cold and do not sweat at all! So we will be sharing with the kids haha!

I am so excited!

I also changed ADRs a bit ... canceled WCC on July 7th and got Crystal Palace at 10:20am instead ...

Canceled Crystal Palace on July 10th and got Chef Mickey at 7:25am instead.

I am really excited to be able to walk to MK and be so close to everything!!!!!

That is so exciting! I love the Contemporary.....it is so nice being close to MK, and having the monorail to go to Epcot.

I am excited! We are spending two of our days at MK plus after our AK and DHS days (close at 7pm) we could pop into MK again if we want, since we will be so close!

We are not actually doing Epcot this trip ... though I guess if we wanted to we could park hop over if we have free time. I could definitely use up some of our snack credits at the Karamel shop LOL

Designed a few shirts for the kiddos tonight!

These are for them to wear to Crystal Palace:

I am going to print them on tee shirt transfers and iron them on their shirts!

Have you ever done the Kidcot stops in Epcot? They are little arts/crafts stops in each of the countries. The kids get to make something and then add it onto a mask they get at the first stop. You can also get an Epcot passport and have it stamped in each country. Just in case you decide to go over there. I know a lot of people think there is nothing for kids, but my two really enjoyed it when they were younger.

We have not done it but I do know about them ... and yep we will definitely do that when we do go over! Probably next trip :)

:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1 Nope, not at all! (I'm already doing the SAME thing lol)

haha! I haven't started putting things in the suitcases yet (though I did get them down from the attic!). But I do have a little stockpile going on in my bedroom of things that we need to bring but don't need right now... :)

Today is our ONE MONTH mark!!!! WOOHOO!

So I thought I would start 'old Disney photo of the day' today :)

This is my daughter's first visit to meet Mickey Mouse in 2005! She was 11 months old :)
