I actually had typed a whole thread for this but somehow it asked me to login again and didn't save what I had typed even though I was already logged in...my bad for not doing it in Word first and saving it.

Here is my late abridged version of my first couple of days here....

The Good.....(that Disney actually controls)

1) The Osborne Family Lights-
2) The "SneakPeek" for SpaceShip Earth- I love the way that they have kept some parts of it and changed/updated others. What IMO needs re-thinking is the ending that lets you choose.....the animation seems a bit cheesy given the ability of the Disney Animation group. It seems very elementary to me, but maybe I am being too critical.
3) "Soaring"- I haven't been able to ride this for several years, so it was great to do it again.
4) Figment- I can't seem to get enough of this ride....and I can't figure out why. My daughter and I always ride it and love it. To me it's EPCOT's version of "A Small World"

The Bad......(that Disney can control)

I have been to WDW about 22 times in the last 15 years, and I have rarely run into poor attitudes when dealing with Cast Members. This year it seems to be more evident. I ran into it at Check-in, the Concierge Desk, the Ticket Gates, and the rides. The positive has been the exception on this trip, and I am disappointed.

The Bad........(that Disney can't control)

1) The cold snap the last couple of days....that will teach me to pack like it will be 80 all week.
2) Shopping weekends at Downtown Disney.....the last time I was jostled like that it was at a crowded Subway in NYC.

More live reports from chilly Orlando as time permits.

Thanks for taking the time to post. I hope you see a lot more of the "Good" during the rest of your trip. Can't wait to hear more.

I will stay tuned :cool1: I'm planning Christmas week 2008.:cool1:

Yes... last year it did get chilly several nights at Disney during Christmas week but for the most part we were in shorts.

Big question: How are the crowds? They were UNBELIVEABLE last year!
