I wanted to write in to tell about our experience with Wegoshop.

A couple of us are VERY picky about our food and brands and cleanliness (like keeping our cleaning products away from foods and paper goods and soap and shampoo separate from them also) so I expected not to be thrilled about someone else shopping for our goods. The origional plan was to just supply the villa with breakfast foods, juices, baby food, baby supplies, juices, a few cleaning supplies and coffee...then we would eat lunch and dinner on the dining plan. Well, that was the plan when I made my list here in CT and sent it to be filled.

Things DID NOT go according to plan and suddenly the funds we had were not available so we had to forego the dining plan and cook in two/three times a day instead of once :scared1::scared:

I quickly called Wegoshop from my cell from Magic Kingdom and apologized for the inconvenience and asked what the chances were that they could shop for the entire stay...they were supposed to deliver the groceries the following morning. Well they were GREAT about it and even though my list was huge (groceries for 6 people including a baby for 10 days!!!). I hate to leave anyone to shop for my meats and because of desperation and time, I left the judgment up to the shopper. She did a great job! Great quality meats that I would have chosen!!! AND they even delivered it the following morning as scheduled with all the "quirky" directions followed nicely.

Will I do it again???? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't get better than the Wego shop gang ....Just next time will make sure the order is for the quick breakfasts with lunch and dinners in the parks...No matter what comes up and AT ANY EXPENSE!!!

We've used them before and will use them again. Very reliable and when something isn't available, Marge always makes good substitutions.

Thanks for the review! I am thinking of using them to pick up some groceries & items to keep in our new Owner's Locker. Glad to hear you had a great experience.

Can they leave the groceries with Bell Services if delivered prior to your arrival? I've heard others who've used Garden Grocers have done this, including frozen items. TIA :thumbsup2

I have had 2 perfect experiences with wegoshop. They find EXACTLY what I ask for and have a very high level of service for a reasonable cost. For example, I asked for the all juice capri suns. I know these can be hard to get but figured that I would at least ask - and if I got plain capri suns so be it. Well, they got us the all juice drinks and I was really impressed! I highly recommend wegoshop.

I know they can at Kidani but I'm not sure about any other resorts as this is the first time we've used any kind of service.

Yes they will do that automatically if you aren't there or your room isn't ready. They really make sure everything is taken care of well too. :thumbsup2

Another vote for Wegoshop! Marge was so accommodating on our last trip in Dec. I accidentally put in our check OUT date as our check IN date!:scared1:

Naturally, she wouldn't have known that, but when I called the night before we were leaving to find out if everything was OK, she alerted me to my mistake!

YIKES! Even though she was booked for the entire week (it was Christmas season), she made a special trip for us and delivered our groceries as I originally planned. :yay: That kind of service is so hard to come by these days!!!

We will definitely call on them again for our future trips!!!:thumbsup2

I know who we are using in March. Thanks for sharing your info. It really helps us plan. What a great board!!!

i am so glad to hear this positive feedback and this service is available. how convenient:yay: thank you everyone for posting this information-it is great. we stayed at SSR two years ago and everyone caught the flu and stayed in the room the entire trip but it was still worked out-this-wegoshop would have been perfect. great information!

Did you find that the prices for your grocery items to be reasonable? or along with a delivery fee was the price of your groceries high?

We are going in Nov. and I'm debating wego or gardengrocers:confused3. GG prices are high w/lower or possible no delivery fee (depending on how much you spend) vs. wego where I can ask them to shop at walmart or publix that have cheaper groceries, but set delivery fee's.

I've read several debates but was wondering your take since you just used them. :thumbsup2
TIA

our groceries cost about the same as at home plus the delivery fee & tip so I felt it to be a good value. I prefer them to shop at a specific store buying specific brands and sizes of items so that works well for us. I think it really can work out to similar cost between the 2 services depending on what you are purchasing.

Our groceries were very reasonable priced, she used coupons for us that she had, got us stuff that was on sale and even called me to see if it was OK to substitute Powerade for Gatorade because there was a huge sale on it, which I really appreciated. They were on time and very sweet, brought the groceries to the room, helped us unload our groceries, they were great!

Hi everyone,

We are planning our first trip "home"in Feb. My daughter has Celiac Disease and cannot eat any gluten. I was planning on using WeGoShop to buy food for the villa, but wanted to know if anyone used them for special dietary purchases. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!
Rebecca

Thanks for the info:thumbsup2 I'm mostly purchasing breakfast items, so nothing fancy. But every time I review my grocery list it seems to get longer:rotfl:

completely agree with the original post - we have used Marge 4 times and will be using her services again in Aug. We have always had fabulous service!
