Okay.

After researching, organizing our thoughts and trying a few searches, i think we are closer to the new plan.

NEXT year is the Big Disney trip with the Family in Sept, but we are thinking it might be nice to go down to Orlando this November and just RELAX! Last tie we were there (last thanksgiving) we were on our Honeymoon and Disney-ing on a very tight schedule (offsite) Next year we will be onsite and there will of course be stress from doing the Family thing... So we are thinking THIS trip, we might just go and do as little as possible. Probably a day or 2 at Universal (the wife LOVES Harry Potter) and some shopping. Still considering a Day at Discovery Cove if I can round up the $$$ and that would let us do seaworld or Busch if we felt like it. But no rush. We are now looking at a Sunday Arrival, and a Saturday return. Still have to do some more research. Might make it a full nights. It all depends on the wife's ability to get vacation time.

I've read a few reviews of Polynesian isles,a nd we know enough to AVOID the TS spiel Any current reviews or travelers? I am thinking a quiet couple of days in a relaxed resort would be awesome.

:)

Thanks in advance for ALL the help I've been getting!

Just to clarify.....a day at Discovery Cove will give you 14 days admission to both Seaworld and Aquatica. Adding Busch Gardens admission would be an additional $25 pp (a great deal, considering one day at BG is generally over $90). I just wanted to make sure you knew exactly what your DC pass would get you :) .

I think your plan sounds great......the Harry Potter areas at Universal are outstanding ::yes::, so if your wife loves Harry Potter, she will be in heaven!

We're going to be staying at Polynesian Isles in two weeks so I'll post a review when we get back.

Ooops! Forgot about the upcharge for Busch! Thanks Gina! I look forward to your review Gr8t Fan! We are still pretty flexible on this plan, but this looks to be "the one" for now. As much as I am a PLANNING LUNATIC, It will be nice to wake up a few days and just sort of say "What do you feel like?" My inlaws had semi retired to Florida for a few years, (before i was in the picture) so DW spent a lot of time heading down there. She's been to Universal a few times and Disney more times than I will probably ever go, but she is always ready for the next trip!

I was tempted to actually make the trip Disneyland for the 60th anniversary year (neither of us has ever been to California, so it would be new for BOTH of us!) but Unless someone wins the lotto, A trip there this year would kill our big trip to WDW next year with my Mom and Sister.
