Sounds pretty good to me. You have a few days where either you start late or end early. That will give you a good break. Plus, if it gets too busy you can always rearrange toward the end of the week. We're planning an "off" day, but it's really a late day. We're doing MVMCP our last day and just packing/resting until we leave for the park around 3:00. I have a 4 and 1yo dd, so we will need to allow for naps/fussiness in our schedule. Hoping for the best!

thanks...i am sure we will make changes yet, but little ones, if any.

You are not planning to Park hop even though you have Park Hopper tickets? Why? You have planned two days at MK (both Tuesday and Wednesday). My advise is that after your tour of MK on Wednesday, I would hop over to AK to check out that park in the afternoon until it closes (5PM) and then drive over to MGM and do one or two attractions like RnR or ToT or even see the Little Mermaid (DD who's 5 should love this) and then end the day by seeing Fantasmic. Since you have Park Hoppers you should try to make them work for you and because you are staying on site and have a car the first three day Parking is free for you. In addition since you said you were newbies make sure you use Fastpass on the attractions if there is a line of 10 minutes or more. Do not wait in long lines. Fast Pass is easy to use and a real time saver if there are lines. Just get a fast pass so you can go on to another ride and come back and go to the front of the fast pass attraction. On Thursday if MGM get crowded remember you have Park hoppers and can go to another Park and do something that you missed or do something again

First off - Please understand that I am a Theme Park Commando - with that said it seems like you are not getting enough park time for your hard earned dollars.

Mon - You are burning a day off your pass for almost zero hours of touring. Remember most attractions in Future World close @ 7PM. Dinner will be over around 8PM and Illuminations is @ 9:30

Tues - Same Thing - MK closes @ 6PM due to MVMCP...

It is YOUR vacation - Please do not take offense.....

Do you have tickets for the MVMCP? If you do, you will have great time at MK that night. You will probably be able to see and do most of the MK attraction that you have on your must do list by the time MVMCP ends. If you do have MVMCP tickets then I would skip the Wednesday tour of MK and go to another Park after the 10:00 PS at the Castle (Or even skip the 10:00 PS altogether).

Please also note that some of the attractions have height restrictions and so your DD may not be able to ride all of the attraction. Make sure you know if she is tall enough to get on all of the rides you have on your list. There is nothing worse than getting to the ride only to have the CM tell your DD that she can not go on this one. Have a plan to Split up DH and DM if she is not able to meet the height restriction.

If you do not have MVMCP tickets then I would go back to Epcot or go to MGM until it closes, on Tuesday right after your PS at the Crystal Palace dinner. Make use of your Park Hoppers and Hop. You will be amazed at how much you can see because of the low crowds, Fast Pass and the ability to Hop.

Do other DISer think that the parks will be crowded at that time of year? and do you think they need two days at MK?

I wouldn't waste my admission lunching in Orlando. Get the rental car, head straight to Sea World that day and lunch there. You'll have enough time to tour the best stuff, I think, then return to hotel after close.
Tuesday do your Chef Mickey's...........then if you happened to get a "second chance" ticket at Seaworld, you could head back to grab anything you missed. Seaworld often does this in the off season to try to keep you buying food and souvies in the park. If they don't offer one, then go visit other resorts. We did this, and had a blast! I've never been at Christmas, but "they" say that every resort has great decorations. About 2ish, go back to hotel and get a little rest for your MVMCP. Carry on the plan from there.
By Wednesday, you'll know what you missed at Magic Kingdom.........get up and packed EARLY, check out and put the bags in the trunk but leave the car there. Head over to MK on the monorail and start touring at opening before your PS. Then you can have a nice leisurely day at MK.
Then, the next day, if I were you..........I would start at AK, then hop over to MGM to close.
Now, you've still got Friday, and you can spend all day at Epcot, and you really need at least a whole day there. Just change your Coral Reef PS to this day instead.
This way, effectively you get a whole day at Epcot, 1 and 1/2 at MK, 1/2 at MGM, 1/2 at AK, and 1/2 or 1 at Seaworld.
But, I'm also a bit of a commando............I always want to get up and get going....................................

I would spend more time in Epcot, especially World Showcase since it's decorated for the holidays. You can easily take the monorail over there, and it's easy to go between Epcot's World Showcase and MGM. Your kids also might enjoy the Boardwalk and DTD. I don't know that you need to do AK since you are doing SeaWorld. It depends on your family and their interests. I would utilize the ease of going to the parks on the days that you are onsite.

I would go bonkers being in Orlando for that many days and hardly seeing the parks! I think that planning down time and some breaks is a good plan, but I wouldn't feel that I'd even tasted what the parks have to offer. It's one thing if you'd been to WDW many times and want to just relax and see the highlights, but this isn't the case.

I would probably either hurry to Epcot on my first day or spend that first day exploring the CR and not go to a park (well, if it were me I would hurry to the parks...). On the days I was doing parks I would get there at opening. I would then take a mid-day break if I didn't want to go all day long and return to the parks in the late afternoon.

Also, you have enough time on your last day to have a park day if you want a down day in the middle (unless you haven't bought your hopper tickets and can get 4 day tickets).

Have fun planning! I'm going in early December, and hoping the crowds won't be too bad.
