Our Escape Wedding TR/PJ ~ 06/2010 WP/Mizner's/Citricos

Another update!! (they are really rolling in now that we're finishing up most things)...

We finished a bulk of our wedding programs last night. We still have a couple more to put together but overall the majority are done! We did the fan style and added a bit of polka dot ribbon as a handle, though I might change it with a different ribbon. :woohoo: The pictures are taken with my blackberry, so the quality isn't great but hopefully you can get the idea!

the programs look great! I was working on mine last night....seeing yours makes me want more panels in mine....though I was having a hard time filling up the ones I have! hahaha.

the shoe clips are SO cute! I love.

I also really like the wedding jewelry! I have a soft spot for anything with pearls

Before we know it we are going to be both married and having lunch at Coral Reef! CRAZY

WOW! I'm tardy to the party! Everything looks great! Can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Thanks everyone! We were pretty happy with the programs but they took a lot of work cutting out all the panels, then figuring out how the eyelet setter works!

AHH 20 days left. Where did the time go?!?!?! :confused3 We're leaving in about 2.5 weeks because we're driving down to Florida!!

Thanks everyone!
My biggest worry right now? Leaving behind my awesome doggie Bear :sad2: There's some separation anxiety...but it's mine from her!!!
I totally understand, we're trying to find someone to watch our cats & turtle while we're gone...the DF & I are completely stressed over it. I'm not sure they will even notice we're gone

OMG....it's getting so close Wendy! :woohoo: Your jewelry is beautiful. I'm the swarovski girl and you get my 2 thumbs up! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:rotfl:

The programs are awesome. I love the details you put into them. Everything is going to flow so beautifully b/c of all your hard work! Your pup is precious. Just remember you have to leave in order to do what's best for her which is marrying Eric so you are legally a family. :cutie: Atleast, that's what I told myself when we had to leave our Bichon for 3 1/2 weeks. He needed a daddy and I had to leave so he'd officially have one. ;)

Furbabies...can't live with em & can't live without them! :goodvibes

I love your programs too! and everything else :)

Do you guys have any family members that can watch them (that aren't going to the wedding?). Eric's aunt is house sitting his mom's place while we're all gone so we're leaving our dog and cats there, so it worked out nicely for us. I hope you find someone! I guess a last resort option could be pet boarding at your vet's office!

It is so close, OMG!!! I'm glad you like the jewelry! At first I didn't think the swarovski crystals would make that much of a difference but they really do SPARKLE more than other crystal pieces I've seen! :goodvibes

Right now, Eric is only "uncle Eric"...I will probably draft up some adoption papers for him!! :rotfl:

I can't believe your countdown is in the teens!!! AHHHH! So close!

WHOA! teens? thats crazy! that means I am almost as close! wow

Yes girls, the time is approaching VERY quickly!!! :scared1: Pretty soon we'll be in Disney enjoying our honeymoons...i seriously can't wait! :cool1:

I love your programs too! and everything else :)

Thanks!! :goodvibes

Wow... I just finished reading your entire planning journal! I love your engagement story. Especially, since you were so surprised. I also told Df "Are you serious?" and he panicked for a moment.

I love your inspiration board and colors! The polka dots with yellow and black is classy yet fun!

I love your guestbook. I actually own that same story book and as someone else mentioned used it as an autograph book. I created little tabs with post it notes out the side of the book before I went to the park so it would be easy to find a page that the character was on. Might be cute with your guestbook, because it will look like you had lots of famous guests!

Your etsy addiction is fantastic and most likely going to start a new addiction for me! I love the cufflinks, headpieces and hangers!!

Do you have a pattern for the tissue holder? How did you create them?

I loved your response card, I'll be stealing some elements from that!

Do you mind me asking where you got your earrings from? They are gorgeous!

Sorry for all the questions... I just got caught up! :)

Thank you for the sweet comments and for catching up with my PJ! :goodvibes I'm glad I'm not the only one who said, "Are you serious?" after being proposed to!! My DF constantly makes fun of me for that, haha :cutie:

That's such a great idea about my guestbook! Thanks for mentioning that!! I think it will be a lot of fun to have the characters sign it, in addition to our guests

I LOVE Etsy. I've only had one bad experience with the sellers there but my great experiences far outweigh the one bad one. It's amazing how talented people are and you really get to personalize things the way you want it! Plus I love that the sellers actually have to care because their business really depends on it!!

I got the tissue holder idea from Disbride BostonDisneyBride. Here are instructions on how to fold them, found on Martha Stewart's website: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/good-things/tissue-pouches-for-your-guests

I purchased my earrings from the website Gilt.com. They sell for over $150 and I got them for like $50! So I'm not sure where you could find another pair but the designer's name is Joomi Lim. :thumbsup2

I think I'm one of the most indecisive brides ever! With only 16 days until my wedding, I've changed Eric's boutineer right at the cut off time...but thankfully Rosie has come to the rescue and was able to make the change for me so last minute and before floral can't be changed!

Originally, Eric's bout was going to be one large yellow Gerber daisy and would probably look like this:

But over the last couple months I've been thinking that the Gerber is just too large and overpowering for him. I want something more sleek and modern. Confession: I've fallen in love with the Billy Button (aka Craspedia)! Look how cute they are and they're naturally colored bright yellow. I love the way these little orbs look on bouts. I love the mini Gerber because it's not nearly as large as a normal one (about half the size), so I've changed Eric's boutineer to have 1 mini yellow Gerber and 2 cute little billy buttons. Yay for Rosie! :cutie:

your so funny...i've changed my mind waaaaaaaaaay too many times! haha I love the new idea! its very cute and I think will fit in nicely with your theme. I agree the daisy is a bit powerful. Do you know how many your gonna have? is it going to be by itself like the last one?

Hah! I know I'm really surprised I didn't become a 2 dress bride or something, I've changed my mind about pretty much everything in this whole wedding.

The new boutineer will be one yellow mini Gerber (nearly 1/2 the size of the full Gerber daisy) with 2 billy buttons. The regular Gerber would have been too much. Rosie thinks it will look great so here's to hoping my crazy indecisiveness pays off!

You will LOVE Port Orleans Riverside. We usually stay at the sister resort. Both are lovely and the boat launches to the other resort and to Downtown Disney are just fab-especially at night. Disney gives you a lot for your resort dollar at those two resorts. I highly recommend them.
