Our DVC 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend an anniversary -- thanks for sharing. We are thinking about a 20th anniversary celebration with our kids at Aulani in a few years so it's great to hear about your experience.

And -- by the way, howdy neighbor. We're from Mandeville but have family in Baton Rouge and are BIG Tiger fans!!

Bob and GettinReady, thanks for the comments. I'm not sure how I missed your posts until now... but I do appreciate the feedback. We're just now beginning to plan our 30th anniversary. We had originally planned on bringing the whole family to Aulani for our 30th, but with the recent jump in airfare and the fact that we never found anyone willing to rent us the additional Aulani points we needed for the reservation, we may have to stay closer to home (i.e., WDW) for the vow renewal and go to Hawaii with just the two of us a year later. Either way, I know it will be fantastic fun!

Thnak you for the ideas. DH and I are discussing VR in 2013. You gave us many great ideas to lessen the cost. We too would rather it be family centered than wedding centered as we already had our dream wedding.

I'm glad the info was helpful! We had such a wonderful time. We're planning for our 30th anniversary now... this time with just the two of us as a "second honeymoon"! =)
