Today we are going to MGM. After breakfast in the room we are ready to go. I don't know about all of you but on about the third or fourth day all the planning, anticipation, traveling, and walking catches up with me and I am just beat. We are told that to walk to MGM is about 20 minutes or more and there are no buses from BWV to MGM, so we take to boat. We wait about 10 minutes for the launch and then it makes a couple of stops before going to MGM so the entire trip took about 30 minutes. I tell myself we are going to take it a little easier today, but as soon as we are in the park we are off and running. This is the first time we have seen the big hat and I know some people think it is ugly, but I like it. We go to get fastpasses for Rock 'n' roller coaster and then get in line for Tower of Terror. I was surprised the line for ToT was only about 15 minutes and after that we got in line for R&RC wich was only 20 minutes. After that ride it was time to use our fastpasses so we rode it again. By this time we are ready to slow down so we get a snack and go to see Beauty and the Beast show. This is always a good show and is one of my wifes favorite. We then head over to Star Tours, Jake is a Star Wars nut and we have to ride this four or five times over the coarse of the day. We head back to the room shortly after noon to rest and go swimming. After dinner in the room we go back to MGM. we do a few more attractions and get in line for Fantasmic. After standing in line for almost an hour we get our seats and about 15 minutes later it starts raining so the kids decide to go back to the room and DW and I stay. After sitting in the rain awhile we leave thinking they will cancle the show, 20 minutes later it quits raining and the show goes on as planned without us. Lucky for us they had a 10:30 show as well and we caught that one. Fantasmic is a very good but again I don't remember this being so dark and scary. There were quite a few little kid around us crying and being carried out. After the show we catch the boat back to BWV. The ride back took even longer because BWV is the last stop. All in all a pretty good day.

Sounds like everyone is having a wonderful time. I always hit the wall at day three too.LOL This coming trip I'm sending my DD & DGD to Discovery Cove on day three and I'm going to hang out at AKL and maybe do the spa. I'm looking forward to reading the part where your son's girlfriend comes....I know he was blown away by that. Thanks for sharing.

we usually schedule a 'down' day on the 3rd or 4th day as well...the crowds and heat can get overwhelming. a day at the resort, spa visit is just what is needed!

After all your busy days, you need one that is slower paced! You still had a late night, though!

We hit the wall on day 3, too. Still managed to go 100 mph once we entered the park, though. It's just so difficult to relax when you know you're at Disney and those parks are calling. :)

Glad you were able to catch the second show. We sat through the rain when we went. The show still goes on. As long as there is no lightning and strong wind.

Sounds like a nice day! Thanks for posting. :)
