We arrived at the Terminal around 12ish. We checked our luggage, then Ashlynne waited for Roger to park the car and we entered. There was no line and check-in was breeze. We were handed a paper to fill out in order to sign Ashlynne into the Kids Club. We were told to sign her in on deck five after lunch. We boarded the ship our family was announced. We stopped right away and the soda program for Ashlynne and myself, Roger got the Huge ESPN beer glass for himself. We were then directed to Parrot Cay for lunch on our way down a CM stopped us and pointed out some dolphins who were playing right next to the ship. Ashlynne is a huge Dolphin lover so that started our trip off on the right foot. We finally tore her away from the porthole and made our way down to lunch. We were seated right away. Roger was in seafood heaven. Once we were finished with lunch we headed to deck 7 and the quest to find our stateroom 7628. I was so happy that we payed the extra for the cat 7 stateroom. I was wonderful to get some fresh air. We unpacked then we were off to explore the ship. We went and got Ashlynne all checked into the Kids Club, then we walked all around the ship. We went back to the room to get ready for the boat drill. I was really dreading the drill but it was handled very well and it was over very quickly. After we dropped off the life jackets we headed up for the sail away party. I had a very yummy drink called the Bon Voyage. The party was nice, Roger asked where the streamers where.......I guess we've watched to many episodes of the Love Boat but we were surprised when we started to sail away and there were streamers...yeah were finally underway. Ashlynne ate some pizza and ice cream and she wanted to head off to the kids club. We were suppose to eat at Triton's, but we skipped it.
We checked Ashlynne into the kids club and Roger and I went to relax in the hot tub. It was so wonderful to sit back and relax after spending 7 days in the parks. We talked with a very nice couple from NY. I think we talked to much because they were almost late for dinner
After we got out of the hot tub I decided to see if the spa had any openings left for massages. I was in luck they had an appt for Saturday morning....I booked it! Roger and I went back to the room and changed we went to check out the shopping. The closer we got to the front of the ship the more I felt it moving. I was very glad I skipped dinner. I bought a few things but I started feeling very sick. I got myself a sprite to drink while Roger shopped. He went down and purchased himself a cuban cigar his favorite out to sea treat. I decided to go and check on Ashlynne. We went to Studio Sea where they were playing some games and she said she was feeling dizzy and sick to her stomach but, she didn't want to leave the club. Roger and I headed down to medical and grabbed some of the sea sickness medicine. We went back to the club and gave her some and she said she wanted to stay a little longer. Roger and I went back to the room. I layed down for a bit hoping to feel better so we could go to 80's night. Needless to say that didn't happen Roger ordered some room service for himself and Ashlynne he then went down to pick up Ash. They ate a late dinner. I filled out the breakfast card and left it on the door so we could have breakfast in the room.
I finally got to sleep at some point in the night the ship didn't feel as if it was moving as much...
Tomorrow Nassau for Roger and Ash and a massage for me
