When we went for ten days in 2012 one of the things I insisted on was doing laundry halfway through. It's just too much clothes especially if you have a hot day and you want to switch halfway through, or change for dinner. We threw stuff in the washers, went around the corner to the pool, no big deal at all.

I've never read anything bad about the Disney ponchos. I'm sorry I got rid of my old style yellow one when we downsized.

We never use laundry pods, since we have very soft water and can get away with the minimum of liquid detergent on even the largest loads. Does Disney have fragrance-free detergent for their machines?

The detergent in the AoA vending style machines was fragrance free!

We threw stuff in the washers, went around the corner to the pool, no big deal at all.

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge last summer and the laundry facility compared to our room was quite the trek, so we ended up spending a couple hours in the laundry room one night, getting everything done at once.

However, this year, the machines were literally right around the corner from our room and in the same area as the pool. We threw laundry in, swam until it was done, grabbed it and walked the few steps back to our room. So convenient.
