Is Closing on Feb 20th...This stinks, thats my daughters favorite store to go into (well mine too)...and since we can't travel to Disney World all that much we like to go there to get stuff. Ugh what a bummer....

Yup, I got that e-mail today too....the store at Rivertown Crossings Mall is closing. I don't even know where the closest Disney Store will be now. I'm thinking maybe Lansing or somewhere in a Detroit suburb. Either way, it will be more than a 15-minute drive.

It stinks because I have a gift card that I put all of my pop can/bottle refunds on. Now, I won't be able to do that anymore. The only bright side is that there could be some really nice markdowns over the next few weeks and we are going to WDW in April so it is time to stock up.

Ours is closing April 24th I was a former ASM there and although I haven't worked there in almost 15 years, I've got lots of great memories and I'll certainly miss it

Same here. The one in Florence was the only one left after Tri-County closed.

I live in West Chester and was thinking about heading out there this weekend - I haven't been in FOREVER...

they should really put one in at Kenowwod - I never understood why they left the one in Florence open - very few people from the Ohio side ever venture over there!

Nooooooooooo! What is the closing date? I'll have to watch for sales. That is so depressing. It isn't advertised in the store, I was just there 2 days ago.

I got the email too. Mine closes next month. I'm in South Florida. I'll be going in this weekend to see if any sales have started...

THere was a thread on here (I am thinking right before Halloween) about how you can get the gift card w/ no shipping fees from disneyland.com. I rememeber someone posted a number you can call to add funds to an exitsing card in that thread. Walgreens is also selling Disney cards now, not as good as adding to your exisiting card, but another option.

The one in Southland Mall (Taylor) is also closing 2/20 or sooner. The next closest one to us is Lakeside according to the email.
That is about an hour drive in awful traffic from here. Add to that the fact that the one by my sister in Fort Wayne (Glenbrook) is also closing, that basically means no more Disney Store for us.

The Belden Village store in Canton is closing next weekend. We stopped by this week and were surprised how soon they're clearing out. Our favorite store at the mall.... we were sad to hear it.

I am in the Birmingham Alabama area and the store in the Galleria Mall is closing by April 30. I am SO sad!! We loved this store. It was always so crowded, but the mall leasing agreement has increased beyond a reasonable amount.

Truly, this was the main reason we shopped at the mall and we will be so sad once it's gone.

Im in the Roanoke Virginia area. Ours at Valley View Mall is closing 1/24!! I just cant believe it and I dont even know where another would be. Probably at least 2 hours away. I cant figure out why they are closing all these stores. I did get an email from Disney saying they were closing the store with a 15% off coupon to use online.

Wow, it's sad to hear that so many stores are closing. I'm on the list, but didn't get anything about any stores in my area closing. But, does anyone have a complete list or know where to find one?
