Our Disney Dream cruise was great but.......

We did the Dream last summer and the 5 of us (me, DW,DD,DS,DD) enjoyed ourselves. So we were talking about doing another Disney cruise Dec 2016. After reviewing prices that is out. Disney cruise was great and all but not worth the extra do ra me. For instance 5 night Royal December 26,2016 for 5 is 3545, 4 night Disney December 26, 2016 $6100 which we already did or a 7 night departing 12/24/16 for $13,000. I think I will take the savings and go see WDW for a few days.
I am the only that struggles with this? I was wanting another Disney cruise too.

Yup. DCL is pretty much consistently more expensive than other, similar cruises on other lines. I would pay it again in a heartbeat. I am not a cruiser, and was actually very nervous about our first Dream trip a few weeks ago. I was convinced that since my two RCCL cruises were meh-to-awful, I would feel the same about DCL. I was wrong, however, and would probably rather do another cruise than deal with WDW. But that's what would work best for me, and I'm sure plenty would disagree with me on that

Disney does tend to be more expensive, but look at the dates you are talking about - MANY people want to cruise Disney (or be at WDW so expect insanity) over the holidays. So there's that as well.
