we are taking our first WDW trip December 6-13 and I THINK that I have come across some very good deals ,but was wanting some WDW experts opinions.It breaks down as follows: For a family of 3 and my DD's nurse (who I would just like to say is wonderful,she is willing and excited about traveling with us with no extra pay since we are paying for all of her expenses,souveniers,etc.. and she will only be looking after my DD in the evenings after DD is in bed)

We will be carrying snacks and drinks into the park and eating breakfast and a light supper at the house each day to save even more money.

Looks good, I just wanted to comment that my friend last year got a minivan on FF points(actually AMEX I believe). I just wanted to offer that as something that some people might over look, and a place to save. Hope you have fun.

Where did you buy your park hoppers?? Also where did you buy your chracter meal vouchers??

Please let us know about the charachter meal vouchers...I have never heard of them.

Yes, Beaglebiz is right. You're missing groceries/odds and ends, spending money and gas money. Is it a part of spending money and if it is...how much did you set aside for it?

We purchased all of our Q&C vouchers and and Character Dinner Vouchers from a company that my husband does side jobs for,so I am not sure where they came from originally(but I will try to find out next week).
As for the groceries etc.

Groceries---250$ We decided it was worth splurging

Gas 25$ for the whole week ( voucher treat from the home owners)

Parking....I was going to ask on here if there are parking passes available to purchase ahead of time.....if not,I will plan on 10$ a
day???


our souvenier and what not money is coming from our change jar so it will really depend on how much we accumulate by december on how much we can spend a day.so far we are up to 654$!!

We spent $350 on groceries and we felt so bad after that because we could have eaten cheaper or had more money to spend in the parks. I'm over it now! But it's nice to splurge sometimes. According to my Birnbaum's 2004...parking is $7.00 bucks per day and you can't buy it in advance.

Parking went up to $8/day (auto) as of 4-04

Before we know it parking will be 10 bucks!!!! Yikes!
