2/5 The day before the wedding:-)

This was our night out with my family - my parents, aunt and uncle, FI (now DH!), and myself. I'd thought that my family would love Primetime 50s so that's where we went.

We had "Cousin Jim" and we were well-behaved. My family got a kick out of the theming, and enjoyed laughing at the other diners who were getting picked on, but we didn't have to do anything. I was secretly disappointed;-)

We all had meatloaf or the fried chicken and everyone was satisfied with their meals. Nothing fancy, no desserts, just a good, decent meal. DH and I probably wouldn't go back because it wasn't really our type of place, but for my parents it was great.

2/6 The wedding day!! :-)

We had an intimate wedding at noon and no reception is included beyond cake and champagne. I thought it would be nice to plan tea at the GF. We found upon arrival that they couldn't seat our party of 10 together, not a big deal since our families aren't very close. DH's family got a very sweet waitress, we got a very unattentive waiter; hey, I'm in a wedding dress here!! My family split a bunch of different items. My mom and I split the Buckingham Palace. I enjoyed the food, my family did not. The atmosphere was nice, I'd have enjoyed it more if it had just been DH and I. I don't know what the bill came to, and I don't want to! DH's family went all out and seemed to enjoy themselves. Probably wouldn't do this again.

Thanks!!! That was crazy about the poor service on your wedding day.....Sorry to hear about that! CONGRATS...btw. Best Wishes!!

Best wishes!:D

Really too bad about the service at tea. What a memory to have...well, actually I hope you can erase that part of your memory of your day!

Do you mind if I ask the price of ceremony, cake and champagne?

I don't mind at all... We went with the add-on intimate package. This means we got our rooms and park passes separately; you can get them all together if you want. Total was $2960 and included the wedding at the Pavilion (other spots are $2100 I think), officiant, 4 hours of limo, bouquet and boutenierre, organist and violinist, cake and Mickey/Minnie cake topper, champagne, wedding coordinator, and a few special gifts (more fun to find out on your own;-) Photography/videography are priced separately. Very low stress for planning - one cake, you pick the flavors, a few bouquet choices you pick and specify color. Yet it was still very magical. Completely worth it to us! Hope this helps you!
