Too rushed?

I think it looks great! I've done Le Cellier which was incredible, 50's primce Time YEARS ago and it was a blast, Fulton's Crab House also incredible, and Whispering Canyon for Breakfast which was really yummy! Didn't like Whispering Canyon for dinner, but we'd definitely do it for breakfast again! We're dying to try Beaches and Cream and Atrist's Point too. I think we're also going to do th Cindy Breakfast last time because the dinner at 1900 Park Fare was a disaster. Nice job planning! Have fun!:earsboy:

buzzfanmom, Why didn't you care for Whispering Canyon for dinner? We were thinking of eating Christmas dinner there...

Denise

It was OK, it wasn't terrible. We had dinner there the first night of our trip, it was pretty crowded and our waiter seemed very rushed. Normally, you can have fun with your server by asking for funny things and getting funny responses (I don't want to ruin it by telling you). So my little brother was trying to egg him on with all of the fun little things like asking for gum, ketchup, straws and our waiter wasn't into the it so my brother was disappointed. Secondly, the food wasn't as good as breakfast in my opinion but its pretty hard to mess up breakfast. We had ribs, and they were soooo chewy and dry my Mom sent hers back. My kids had Mac and cheese and it was like glue. My Dad will eat anything, so he had the all you can eat skillet and loved it. Maybe it was an isolated incident but I'll stick with breakfast when its not as busy. :earsboy:

While your plan looks good, there does seem to be a lot of eating there. And seeing that you will only have limited time in WDW, and will be going on the cruise after I think I would cut out some of the sit down meals to save time and money. Remember you will want to save your appetite for the ship.
Seeing that you will be paying cash for some meals, maybe you would want to cut out those and just do counter service or snacks around the park then. I would probably take out Tonys & Donalds, and replace those with counter service. Ironically those are the only 2 restaurants I have had bad experiences at in WDW. ;)

Then again if you are the type that needs to take those sitdown meals as sort of a break, by all means stick with them. I just happen to be the type who finds doing even 2 sitdown meals a day is usually a lot for me(especially if its an all you can eat meal).

Happy eating!

I agree that it looks like too much food, especially since you're going on the cruise after. I see that you're on the Silver pLan, so those meals you're not using wishes for, I'd try for counterservice. Also, you have Cindy's listed as one day, but as I'm sure you're aware, you might be shut out for that day. I've been shut out many times, and had to call for several consecutive days to get lucky. You have to keep that in mind and might have to adjust your itinerary based on which day you secure Cindy's for. Personally, I'd dump all sitdown lunches, with the exception of Beaches and Cream (it's one of my favorite restaurants!). If you're on limited time, and have such big breakfasts and dinners planed, you really don't need the sitdown lunches. You're be stuffed from breakfast and a quick snack during the afternoon will save you valueable park time, and leave you humgry to enjoy the fine dinners you have planned.

That looks like a awesome plan to me.

Did Whispering Canyon for breakfast for December. It was so much fun. My aunt warned me about the ketchup thing, so we got to skip a little bit of embarassment. But it is all in great fun.

LOVED 50's prime time cafe. Others have said their mom, cousin,... what ever, was not good. Our mom was great. We had to set our table and keep our elbows off the table. I really enjoyed my caesar salad. The portions are so huge. Smores were wonderful.

Did Fulton's Crab House on my Honeymoon in 11/01. You don't get a lot of food for the price, but I thought it was very good. I am happy to say I went there, but just might not go again.

Others you have I am looking forward to next time, B&C and LeCellier.

Then you are going on the Wonder! Have a wonderful time! :p

I don't think you have too much planned. It actually looks pretty good. You'll have plenty of time to relax on the ship. But I do agree that you have to save room for the cruise. I did a WDW cruise back in '93. By the time we got to the ship all we could do was look at all the beautiful food because we just weren't that hungry.

So here's my suggestion. Instead of paying for meals, split them. By splitting your meals you'll have more wishes to go around. My experience has been that the entrees at most of WDW's finer dining (including the ones on your list that I'm familiar with) are almost enough for two. Throw in a couple of appetizers and some desserts, and two meals will come pretty close to feeding 4 people. Let the server know what you want to do and he or she should help you select the best entrees and filling appetizers. Also if they know you are splitting most places will split it in the kitchen for you. You just need to use one wish per person on buffets and FDP. Also don't waste wishes on chidren's menu items. They are way too inexpensive. It would be better to either pay or have kids split an adult entree.

Hi,

Sounds great to me! Have fun!

We also had the Silver DM, just got back....we ended up making about $300 on the deal. The only problem we had is when we had a big lunch like I noted above...it was hard to eat a huge dinner, since it includes appetizer, entree and dessert, (for lunch also). We tended to eat more than we usually did to get our moneys worth. We had lunch @ 50's Prime Time, then the Fantasmic Dinner @ Hollywood & Vine. We ended up rescheduling the Fantasmic for a later day. I think if we scheduled dinner for 7:30-8:00 it would have been alot better, most of our Dinner PS's were for 6:00 or so. Fulton's Crab House was fantastic....so was Le Cellier. Great food! Dinner @ Fulton's took about 1.5 - 2 hrs. It might be cutting it close for Cirque...make sure you pick up your tickets before hand for Cirque, it makes getting in alot smoother and faster.

Here are my 2 cents:D

I think it looks good, and definitely do-able. We like the Plans and manage not to feel too stuffed; the sit-downs are excellent breaks.

Be forewarned - Tony's will stuff you!!! We've eaten there 3 times on the plans, and they encourage you to get *much* more than you're technically supposed to. You're allowed to get the smoothies (you can't keep the glass unless you pay) plus soda plus capp. if you want. They also "encourage" you to get soup/salad *and* an appetizer... This last time I couldn't decide between a soup and salad - the waitress ended up bringing me both! (Not what I had in mind, but oh well!)

We didn't care for Donald's, this was our least favorite character breakfast. But that's just our own personal taste, you may love it:D

I'd do the 6 Cirque and schedule Fulton's for afterward if you can. I felt very rushed last year trying to get to Cirque and we didn't even have dining reservations before... You need to pick up your tickets 1 hour in advance, so definitely do that earlier than your dinner if you do Fulton's first. We loved Fulton's; a very good place to go to use your wishes, although they also stuff you. Want filet with your seafood? Go right ahead;) Try the chocolate creme brulee::yes::

Have a great time:D

We actually picked up our tickets for Cirque earlier in the week. I think it was actually 4 days before show time. We were at DTD for dinner and stopped to see if we could go ahead and pick them up. I think the idea for a later dinner and early show is a great one. That is what we did. FYI....The show is 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Even if you have medium to large appetites, that seems like a lot of food for one day. During our March 2004 visit, we did Donald's Breakfastourous. The food was pleantiful and just so-so. However, after a large filling breakfast like that we did not eat again until the evening meal.

If you skip some of the sitdown lunches, it will save time and $$. Also you will be able to appreciate the wonderful dinners that you have planned even more.

Our next trip in November 2004 we are planning a dinner at Fulton's. Can't wait to try it!!!
