Hello everyone! Looking for feedback on our dining plans for December 15-22. A few notes:
1. Party of 4. 2 adults, 2 kids (both boys age 16 and they are SKINNY, but can eat a horse!!!! I'm jealous!!!!!)
2. We are on the Disney Dining plan for 7 nights.
3. We arrive late on December 15, so we will not be using any credits that day.
4. Unless otherwise noted, breakfast is doughnuts / pop tarts / bagels in the room.
Friday - December 16:
Lunch - Pecos Bill's (Counter)
Dinner - Electric Umbrella (Counter)
Saturday - December 17:
Lunch - Sci Fi (Table)
Dinner - Cinderella's Royal Table (Table)
Sunday - December 18:
Lunch - Flame Tree BBQ (Counter)
Dinner - Spoodles (Table)
Monday - December 19:
Lunch - Hard Rock Cafe (Universal)
Dinner - Rosie's All American Cafe (Counter)
Tuesday - December 20:
Breakfast - Crystal Palace (Table)
Dinner - Le Cellier (CP Package - Table)
Wednesday - December 21:
Lunch - Backlot Express (Counter)
Dinner - Hoop De Doo (2 Table Credits)
Thursday - December 22
Earl of Sandwich (Counter)
Based on the above information, we'll each have a counter service left over for a food court breakfast one day of our choosing. (Or something else???)
I honestly believe the dining plan will be too much food for my wife and me. We are already talking about sharing some counter meals so we don't OVEREAT and then the boys can have midnight meals at the food court.
We could share some table service meals as well, but wouldn't be able to use the ones that are left over.
Regardless.... The math and the menus tell me we should come out pretty good on the deal, but we'll be spending about $300 more on food than we've ever spent before. So.... While the plan is a good deal, Disney will still get more of our money. Ironic, eh???
Let me know what you think about our plan!
Thanks,
Mav
