I came to the DIS boards around the same time as you. I lurked on your many posts as you were planning your first ever trip to WDW with Wilgus, your niece and your son. I gleamed advice and information from your posts.

After a month of lurking, you inspired me to register and begin posting.

I read your trip report and laughed at how you had to coax Wilgus to shut down the laptop, leave the hotel room and enjoy Walt Disney World!

I howled at the antics of the 2 high school students trying to pass themselves off as French tourists -- only to have you foil them by speaking perfect French to them while they were talking about you and your niece.

You have always been one of the most compassionate and considerate people on these boards.

I am so sorry. I wish I could do something for you -- but all I can offer is my very dearest sympathy, love, and friendship.

Katholyn - I have really missed your presence here and have thought of you and your husband often during this time. You were one of the first DIS posters whose name I recognized when I was newly registered.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost 3 friends roughly my age (60) last year to cancer. Plus I lost my mother 10 years ago. I've been helping my best friend in the whole world fight this battle the last 4 months.

May you and your family find peace.

So very sorry to hear of Wilgus' passing, Kath. He will certainly be missed by his many friends and family, though the memory of a fine man will be with many for their lifetimes.

One of my fondest memories of my association with these boards was touring Universal with you, Wilgus and several others. I think I laughed maybe the most I ever have, such good memories. When you come here to read this thread, think of the visit we had at the Nickelodeon attraction. It will certainly bring a good smile back to you, as it has for me.
