We were in Disney from 11/13-11/16, stayed at Saratoga Springs (DVC members) and used the DDP. Overall, I think it's a great deal. We definitely got out ahead by using that. I was a little disappointed about one thing though- it wasn't explained to me that the plan is only for the number of nights stay, NOT the number of days. I had planned our meals (ADRs) with the thought that we had 4 days of dining...imagine my surprise when Wednesday came along and I was short a whole day's worth of credits!
Anyway, here's our tally:

Monday:
Counter Service- Cosmic Ray's 1/2 chicken & 1/2 ribs meal w/ drinks and dessert. Very good! I asked for french fries instead of carrots, and they gave them to me for nothing in addition to the carrots.

Table Service- Turf Club at SSR. Excellent food. DH had caeser salad, penne pasta w/shrimp, apple pie and blackberry lemonade. I had buffalo chicken, sirloin steak, chocolate lava cake and blackberry lemonade. DS had chocolate milk, the chicken pizza, yogurt, sweet potato fries, and an ice cream sundae.

Snacks- dole pineapple whip for DH.

Tuesday:

Table Service- Crystal Palace Breakfast buffet for all of us. Then we used table service credits for dinner at Cape May Buffet. Went OOP for ice cream at Beaches & Cream later that night.

Counter Service- DH & DS had burgers in Epcot at lunchtime. I was taking a nap with the baby.

Snacks- I think DH & DS got drinks and pretzels.

Wednesday:

Counter Service- Breakfast platters from Artist Palette. had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and a biscuit w/ drinks. Very filling and a lot of food. Lunch was pizza and salad meals w/ cookies and drinks at Toy Story Pizza Planet. These were really good and the portions were great.

Table Service: Went OOP for dinner at House of Blues in DTD.

Snacks: box of doughnuts for room and bag of popcorn for DS.

Thursday: Lunch OOP at Sunshine place in Epcot. I had mexican tortilla soup, a chicken caeser salad, a corn muffin and a drink. I have to say, that even thought it was $15 for just my lunch, it was very good.
Used DS' last table service as a counter service at Artist Palette. He got chicken nuggets, grapes, applesauce, gatorade and a Hugs & Kisses cheesecake.

Snacks: an ice cream and pretzels in Epcot

We had brought along packets of oatmeal, bread, peanut butter, bottled water, and some granola bars. That helped out for early mornings and late night snacks. I need to add up all my receipts again, but I know for sure that we came out ahead. I highly recommend the dining plan.

Thanks for your review. We have used the DDP in the past and highly recommend it as well. We were lucky on our last trip at the end of August to have free dining. We ended up upgrading from a value resort to a deluxe. Couldn't beat the deal. :)
