My 5 year old daughter and I had breakfast at CRT on Wednesday morning. The total cost for us was about $63 inclusive. It included breakfast, the photo with Cinderella, a wand and a flashing star. However, I really feel it was a "priceless" experience.

We were among the first in the park and the pictures on Main Street were incredible. We checked in and were treated like royalty from then on. We were seated by a window looking out over Fantasy land, but my daughter was so enchanted by the inside scene that she hardly noticed. She loved all the little girls that were dressed up -- she was in her yellow Belle dress and all the girls looked so cute.

They bring out a bowl of mixed fruit and bread basket to start, along with juices. The meal is nothing fantastic, hers was eggs, bacon, and french toasts strips. Mine was eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoe casserole and some kind of fried dough thing with blueberry sauce. The waiter graciously brought my DD more muffins since she doesn't really eat eggs, etc. (There was also a healthy option for adults, granola, yogurt etc.)

The real magic began after the meal was served. There was some kind of formal announcement (Ladies and Gentlemen, Princess Cinderalla is pleased to present her 4 special guests, or something like that). I need to say that I booked this breakfast about 5 days before we went and had done no research (I got very lucky someone must have cancelled), so I was very surprised when Belle, Snow White, Aurora and the Fairy Godmother walked out. (I thought the Godmother would be there, but thought it was the mice etc from Cinderalla's story that would be there.)

The Princesses were absolutely lovely. My daughter had "belle" at her birthday party and when I mentioned to Belle that fact, she played along beautifully. My daughter was just absolutely enchanted. They all were so sweet. My daughter really felt like a Princess.

I also want to mention that out family split up this morning my son and husband went to Crystal Palace for breakfast, simply to get in the park at the same time as us, not to see the Pooh characters. There were lots of boys in there who were not enjoying themselves very much and were really fidgetty and wild with their swords. It would not have been worth any amount of money to take my son, he would have hated it.

The photos (one 8 x 10, and 4 by 6) were high quality and she is so excited to have them.

Anyway, I know that there are many who are upset about the cost so I thought I would just share our expereince. :

Sound very nice ,glad you and DD enjoyed it. We have and ADR in September. DD is 6 so who knows how much longer she will love princesses. So I will pay the money. She will love it I'm sure.

OK, I am so excited now. I may just have to get one of those count downs that everyone has :)

Sounds like you and your DD had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing it with us. :goodvibes

I am so glad you had a magical experience, I guess it was well worth the money you spent, good for you.

I love the Castle, had lunch and dinner there and loved both experiences. Too bad they have become a 2 TS meal, it is such a lovely place. But not worth 2 TS credits. My dd's are not that into princesses, it's mostly for the castle experience.

Sounds as though you both had a wonderful time ~ Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for your review. We are trying to decide weither or not to eat there on our upcoming trip. I've checked out the breakfast menu and it all looks pretty standard. We are just mainly wanting to eat there for the Castle experience. I'm glad the op mentioned about the boys not really enjoying themselves. My 5 year old son just wants to check out the castle. I'm not sure if he would enjoy it much after the first 20 minutes.
I don't know if our 10TS credits (party of 5) would be best spent elsewhere? What's your opionion.

I am so glad you posted! We plan on doing this in October because my niece just has to eat in the castle. princess: It is good to know that my money won't be totally wasted! ;)

I would not eat there just for the castle experience -- if he isn't into Cinderella (and her friends) I would let him walk through the castle instead of going into the restaurant and call it a day. It would not be worth it to me just to see the castle -- it was really all about Cinderella.
