My 5 year old daughter and I had breakfast at CRT on Wednesday morning. The total cost for us was about $63 inclusive. It included breakfast, the photo with Cinderella, a wand and a flashing star. However, I really feel it was a "priceless" experience.
We were among the first in the park and the pictures on Main Street were incredible. We checked in and were treated like royalty from then on. We were seated by a window looking out over Fantasy land, but my daughter was so enchanted by the inside scene that she hardly noticed. She loved all the little girls that were dressed up -- she was in her yellow Belle dress and all the girls looked so cute.
They bring out a bowl of mixed fruit and bread basket to start, along with juices. The meal is nothing fantastic, hers was eggs, bacon, and french toasts strips. Mine was eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoe casserole and some kind of fried dough thing with blueberry sauce. The waiter graciously brought my DD more muffins since she doesn't really eat eggs, etc. (There was also a healthy option for adults, granola, yogurt etc.)
The real magic began after the meal was served. There was some kind of formal announcement (Ladies and Gentlemen, Princess Cinderalla is pleased to present her 4 special guests, or something like that). I need to say that I booked this breakfast about 5 days before we went and had done no research (I got very lucky someone must have cancelled), so I was very surprised when Belle, Snow White, Aurora and the Fairy Godmother walked out. (I thought the Godmother would be there, but thought it was the mice etc from Cinderalla's story that would be there.)
The Princesses were absolutely lovely. My daughter had "belle" at her birthday party and when I mentioned to Belle that fact, she played along beautifully. My daughter was just absolutely enchanted. They all were so sweet. My daughter really felt like a Princess.
I also want to mention that out family split up this morning my son and husband went to Crystal Palace for breakfast, simply to get in the park at the same time as us, not to see the Pooh characters. There were lots of boys in there who were not enjoying themselves very much and were really fidgetty and wild with their swords. It would not have been worth any amount of money to take my son, he would have hated it.
The photos (one 8 x 10, and 4 by 6) were high quality and she is so excited to have them.
Anyway, I know that there are many who are upset about the cost so I thought I would just share our expereince. :
