Our Crazy Adventure full of Cough Drops, Dinopups, &PureMagic! *Updt 1/30 Pg. 43*

great photopass pics, how exciting to have gotten the cd in the mail yesterday!

Thanks :D
I was really excited when I saw the mail pile!

yay you got your pp pics! they look great so far :thumbsup2

Thank you, they came out nice

Amazing PP pictures-- your family looks great! I also love the MSEP picture of Goofy in the train-- beautiful!
Thanks :goodvibes
The Goofy one is my favorite, I also really like the Tinkerbell one

PP picture are really clear, came out ace :thumbsup2 I remember your pic of EE from April when those poor people where stuck :scared1: I was terrified when it stopped and I took a look at the view this trip, had to shut my eyes, cannot imagine being stuck and having to take those steps.

Thanks :)
I'm so glad we didn't get stuck- I'm glad ya'll didn't get stuck either! If that situation happened to me... I'd probably ask the CM if I could stay in the train haha. It's wirth a try, right?

Loving the picture from Dinosaur. Your brother had me cracking up.

I wish you'd gotten to see Nemo this time. You would have loved it. :)

I'm really proud of myself for taking a picture of that ride pic. Haha
I bet I would've, it looks like a cute musical! There's always next time

Wow, I had a LOT of catching up to do, so I'll try to comment on what I remember!!

I love your pic of the GF that gets the lounge chairs, pool and GF. Amazing. You have a good eye for pics!! Are you interested in photography stuff at all and do they offer a class for that at your high school? You should so take it if they do!! It was one of my favorite classes!!

You didn't have any pics of lifeguards when you were at the pool so I can't tell you if my friend was there!! I did meet up with him on my trip, so I know it's SO GREAT to reunite with friends in the most magical place on Earth!! I'm glad you got to see your friend. That's SO SO awesome!!

Your PP pics are great. I was so shocked when they added the MSEP pics too! It's awesome though.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the People Mover. (That's just what it is in my mind.) When they changed the name to Tomorrowland Transit Authority did they take down every single sign that said People Mover? Because I KNOW when I was there the sign that was right by the entrance pointing to the escalators said People Mover. (I'm pretty sure it had Tomorrowland Transit Authority in smaller letters above that.) So now I don't know if that's just old signage or if they did officially change it like you heard they might? hmmmm...

Can't wait for more!! :goodvibes

Thanks, Kimmy (: When I went to pick out my classes for this year, I don't think freshman were able to take any photography classes. Except for Yearbook Staff (which I did in 8th grade and it wasn't the best experience ever..). I definatly would want to take a class like that eventually, I'm sure my school has something like it

Aww man, I would've taken tons of pics of lifeguards if I had known before that your friend might be there! That's awesome that you got to meet up with him! Meeting up with friends is the best

:goodvibes I was surprised about the MSEP pics being on there too, they're really nice

I've always seen signs that say "People Mover" and such. Or "TTA" and then in smaller letters "People Mover". I think it's always been called the People Mover, it's just recently becoming "official"- hopefully. I think it'd be cool to have it names the TTA People Mover.

Hi Sara! Just got back yesterday so now I'm trying to get all caught up on everyone's TRs. Great photopass pictures! Those ones of the MSEP are pretty good. ;)

I think you'd do so well in a photography class if you got the chance to take one!! Maybe you could even do a few shoots at Disney! ;)

Meeting up with friends is the best! Maybe you will recognize him in my pics. :confused3 My time with him was painful though...I had to listen to all of his Disney stories and it just made me so jealous! For example, he was saying how he got to see both MK and Epcot 4th of July fireworks in one night and how he's seen Wishes literally hundreds of time, often while on the job so he basically got paid to watch it, etc. NOT FAIR!!

I just like how "People Mover" sounds compared to "TTA". And Tomorrowland Transit Authority is just too long. We'll just work on making it Dis-official :rotfl2:

Great PP pictures. How come Dad didn't do the Mickey Ears in the one photo? Love the Tinker Bell photo. My DD had her BBB makeover into Tink this year.

Hey Sarah- I cannot wait to hear all about your trip :D
Thanks- oh yes

People Mover does sound more interesting than TTA. Haha, hopefully that won't take to long to do!

Thanks (:
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing because it's not really his "thing" to do the silly picture type stuff, lol. I wish I could've done BBB when I was little- I so would have done Tink, and Cinderella too

July 8th
Day 3
Animal Kingdom

After meeting back up with my dad and Joe (and riding EE twice) we decided it was time for some lunch. And where else to go but Flame Tree BBQ- the food there is seriously AMAZINGLY GOOD. It's on my Top 3 QS at WDW list :D

IMG_7084.jpg

There was a cool African band close by
IMG_7085.jpg

J and my parents stood in line while Joe and I went to look for seats. We found some pretty good ones too. I called my parents and told them where we were sitting.

Pretty little details, huh?

IMG_7093.jpg

My mom called me a few minutes later telling me they couldn't find us and had found a different table since they didn't want to wander around carrying heavy trays any longer.

I was a little dissapointed... I thought my instructions on how to get to us were pretty easy to follow... plus I liked the table we were sitting at because there weren't any annoying people close by. All the people were quiet and peaceful.

Reluctantly, I followed my mother to where they had gotten a table. Of course, I had to announce that the table Joe and I had found was better... I do have to have the last word, it's hard not to.

Nevertheless, we were all hungry, so we dished out the food and ate up!
My dad, Joe, and I had the ribs
IMG_7094.jpg

Oh, they're SO good

J had a sandwich
IMG_7096.jpg

And my mom had the DELICIOUS chicken salad. The dressing they put on it is to die for

^You can see the very loud lady in the background of this pic. She kept screaming at her neices and nephews and such. Pretty disturbing

We ate up and were soon ready to hit the park again!
But not before I took a few pictures of the scenery

We decided to head to Asia to see the line for Kali River Rapids
IMG_7106.jpg

The wait was 60 minutes, so that was a no-go

We did find these cool bike thingys
IMG_7108.jpg

IMG_7111.jpg

We decided to head over to Kilimonjaro Safaris next, to see the wait time.

Luckily, the line was only 20 minutes!
IMG_7113.jpg

So we hopped right in

Line pics:

IMG_7115.jpg

Probably ten minutes later, we were seated in our ride vehicle- BACK row again! (In April we had gotten the back rows also!) I kinda liked it though, I could turn around and take pictures without any people being in my way.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention! While waiting in line for the safari, Joe, J, and I all wanted to sit on the ends. Well, there's only two ends, so we did the famous "I'll pick a number and you guess". So, my mom picked her number (1-20)and told my dad. This game is super easy to win, once you figure out how to play it right. I'm telling you all my top secret game plan, so don't share it with anyone! I made Joe and J guess first. Joe guessed 18 or something, J guessed 5 or something, so duh, the smartest thing to do is guess a number in between 5 and 18, that way which ever way it goes, you win! That's why, with three people, you guess LAST. If you're forced to guess first, then guess the middle number, in this case it would be 10, and you need to hope that the other two people guess one higher number and one lower number. So, now you all know my strategy. The number ended up being 7 or 8 so it was J and I who got to sit on the ends of the car. Yay, better opportunity for me to take pictures!

Up Next: I *Heart* Animals!

Great Update! We ate at the Flame Tree when we were there in May and I had that Chicken Salad and I agree, that is one GOOD salad! The dressing and the seasoning on the chicken are a great combo. We went on Kali towards the end of the day with a wait time of 60 minutes but we only waited about 15 or 20.

yumm, the food looks good! I love FTBBQ :)
I can't wait to see your KS pics, I love to see all the animals from the safari

those ribs look yummy! kilimonjar safaris is one of my my favorite things at AK, i hope you took animal pics, lol

Haha I got the whole Jonas Brother story out of him! It makes me laugh.

So apparently, he like pretended to drown in the pool and one of Austin's friend jumped in to save him. Then she realized he was just faking and like yelled at him because she was cold. I guess he wasn't used to getting yelled at or something because at some point, he said "I'm Nick Jonas". Since this girl was older (like a few years older than me I think, College Program) and not into the Jo-Bros, she didn't recognize him and sarcastically said "I'm Britney Spears". Then he was like "no...really." And she finally got it and was like "Oh my little cousins love you!!" He asked how old they were and she told him like 13 and he said "yeah, that's pretty much the only age of girls that love me." :rotfl:

I would've recognized him!! That story cracks me up though!!

I love your AK day. EE is the best. And so is FTB. There are so many tables there, it's ridiculous!! I was shocked. It's really, really beautiful though! I love all the rich, vibrant colors!

Nice update, Sara! Updated my TR, per your request, last night :)

Thanks, Meg (: I saw! Thank you for updating due to my request :D

I normally switch between the ribs and the salad each time we go there. But, however it turns out, I always wish I could've had the other option. If I had the salad, I wish I could've had the ribs, and vis versa- I'm very strange like that, haha. Wow, that wait time was off! Very lucky

yumm, the food looks good! I love FTBBQ :)
I can't wait to see your KS pics, I love to see all the animals from the safari

It was really good, I love it too! I tried to take lots of animal picss (:

They were good (: I tried my best to take lots! Some didn't turn out to great, it's such a bumpy ride sometimes

:rotfl: I love the Jonas Brothers story! That is too funny! Seriously, made my day!! I would've recognized him of course, I probably would have fainted or something also  Haha he's off by a year, I'm 14 1/2 so it's not the ONLY age  Thanks for sharing the JoBro story, I love it :D I just told my friend it (she's not a big JB fan, but she listens to me talk about them, lol) and she found it totally halarious, haha

EE and FT are both amazing (: I know right, there are hundreds of tables there and so many sections to sit in, it's crazy! I'm glad they have so may tables though, because sometimes it's really hard to find a table even though there are so many- especially in the summer. It's really pretty, I love the whole feel of it and all the details.

Love Flame Tree BBQ---It has to be the best counter service in all of Disney.

I totally agree, the food there is amazing and it's just so nice there. It definatly has my vote for best CS. I've never eaten at anywhere else in AK, except there. And I'm not planning to change that anytime soon, hehe

Great update!

Too bad that you lost the table you had wanted but your lunch looks delicious.

The Safari sounds awesome and such good luck that it was only a twenty minute wait:goodvibes

Thanks (:
The lunch made up for it, lol. I love FT BBQ, it's so yummy.
We really lucked out with that one! I would've thought the wait would've been much longer since it was such a high point in the day, being right after lunch and stuff

Love the updates, flame tree bbq is one of my favorite places to eat

Thank you!
Same here, the food is delicious

Just a 'life update" I was planning on updating my TR tomorrow... but I threw that idea away when I realized I've got Open House! I'm probably going to need all day long to mentally prepare, lol. I'm not Open Houses' biggest fan. Especially when I'm the youngest grade in the school. Anyways, it's just Freshman open house, which made me feel a whole lot better! I know my class schedule, I got it a few weeks into summer this year, since the 8th graders went on a "field trip" to the high school and we signed up for our classes that day.

Just incase anybody is interested, here's my schedule (we have 4 classes and lunch each semester. And the 4 classes are different in semester 2 than in semester 1)

Semester 1
Period 1 Old Testement (religion class, basically)
Period 2 Honors Geometry
Period 3 Honors World History
Period 4 Principles of Buisness and Personal Finance

Semester 2
Period 1 Honors English I
Period 2 Teen Living
Period 3 Honors Earth/Enviornmental Science
Period 4 Health and Physical Education

I like my schedule, I don't who my teachers are and I don't know when I have lunch, but I like my classes.

My main dislike about my schedule is that I have that religion class first thing in the morning, and I don't know any other people who will be in that class! And it's the first class of the day! I want a class to have first with people I know! Oh well, I'll live, hopefully.

Also, a few of my friends think I'm crazy for taking all honors classes, but I like the advanced classes. I don't feel like we're taking forever on one topic. And most of my friends are in advanced classes, so I just have a better chance with being with them :D

So I know many of you guys are teachers, when do/did you guys go back to school? Any comments on my schedule? (:

Teen Living? What's that?

Other than that, woohoo! I've always done all-honors or almost all-honors courses, and they really pay off in the long run. I had to drop honors Math after Algebra II H, because I didn't keep up the required cumulative grade to stay in the honors program for Math. So, I took regular Geometry and regular Trig. (And thank heavens I did!)

My schedule should be coming in a few days. If not by the end of this week, the beginning of next week; I believe Freshman Orientation is next Friday night.
