Our completely unpredictable PTR- WDW with Autism May 25-31

This time next week, we will be at AK! Our schedule is pretty loose there. Dh wants to eat at Flame Tree BBQ. He saw the menu and decided this was the perfect lunch place. We have an ADR for Rainforest Cafe in the evening to celebrate Kara's 18th birthday, disney style! She wants a volcano dessert.
The plan is to be at AK shortly after opening, no later than 10am. We will head to the boneyard with Luke and Kara and Spencer will head to EE to ride and get 3 FP for later in the day. Then they will head to KRR to get 3 more FP and if the line is short, probably ride it twice too. We will dig in the boneyard for a little while, then hopefully see the nemo musical. I really want to see it. Depending on the time, we might explore dino land a bit or we may head over to Flame Tree BBQ to meet up with Kara and Spencer for Lunch. After this, we hope to use our FP to ride KRR and EE, and hopefully we can grab FP for KS for everyone too. We are planning to head to the conservation area after this, figure it is air conditioned and Jess really loves this area. She can talk with CM's for hours about habitats and animal care. She got to watch a snake surgery our first trip and we missed it our second. This trip, we promised to let her go and hang out for a good amount of time. We may stay with her or we might split up a bit, not sure yet. I am thinking after this we will use our FP to ride KS and then head over to Camp Minnie Mickey. Our last trip the lines were shorter for the characters later in the day so I hope it is the same way this time. I want to see FOTLK but know I probably wont get to. Then its dinner at RFC! Hopefully will be a good day!

:woohoo: for this time next week!

We love Flame Tree BBQ! And I hate BBQ!!! I didn't even consider it in 2009, but the smell was soo overwhelmingly delicious, I insisted on eating there for 2010 ... and boy, was I glad. :cloud9:

Loving your plans for AK! :yay: I'm jealous you're eating at RFC! I wish it was on the DDP. :sad1:

I missed updating yesterday. Yesterday, my baby officially became an adult. It was bittersweet for me. I do not feel that I have been her mom long enough for her to be grown. I want her to stay my little girl forever. There were alot of conflicting emotions going on, still are. We watched Finding Nemo yesteday and she kept quoting the parts about letting go... think she was hinting at something? It probably didnt help that I cried... Apparently, finding nemo is a very emotional tale for me. Needless to say, I am just not ready for this. Thankfully she is not moving out on me, well not yet anyway. I know its coming though. She truly believes that kids should stand on their own once they are adults. Me, I would let her stay until she was 30!

A week from today (and yesterday) we will be at SWW. I am not sure how I feel about this. Luke and Jess are super excited though. I am not sure what we will do these days, will probably play it by ear. We are hoping to do a dismeet on Friday too! I hope between these two days, we can get our musts done and hopefully have a little down time too.

A week from today we will be in MK! I hope to get a great deal accomplished there but mostly fantasy land and tommorowland. No clue where to eat... any suggestions for good counter service at MK?

We do not arrive at WDW until early wednesday morning but we are leaving tomorrow afternoon to make the 4 hour drive to Dallas, where we will catch our flight. I still have a ton of things to do. I have 2 loads of laundry left, lots of packing (about half way done) and my house needs cleaned. Everyone thinks I am nuts in my house but I cannot leave my house messy. It would drive me crazy our whole trip! I also have to get Luke to speech today, pick him up from aba in about an hour, repair my vaccuum cleaner so I can vacuum, print out everything for my trip, load music on my iPod, clean out my car, and about a million other thngs I havent mentioned...

The plan is to leave at 2 pm tomorrow for Dallas. In the morning, Luke will have ABA, I will finsh anything on my list, pick him up at 11, and take the dog to Jessa's friends house, fill up the car, the usual stuff. Stephen gets off work at 1, but he has to come home and do a few things before we leave. We hope to be on the road by 2 and to Dallas by 6 or 6:30. We plan to have dinner in Dallas, probably at the Ghengis Grill because Stephen loves it. Then we will head to our hotel for an early night.
Wednesday, we will be at the airport at 5am! Hopefully there is a starbucks at DFW because I will need it. I am bringing poptarts for breakfast and a single serving bowl of frosted flakes for Luke. Strangely enough, Luke will only eat Frosted flakes for breakfast. This is one of his weird routine things. I put movies on the ipods, so we will watch Disney or Star Wars for our 2.5 hour flight. At 10:30 we will be in Orlando!
Our park days are
Wed- MK
Thurs-AK
Fri-DHS
Sat-DHS
Sun-MK
Mon-Epcot
Tues-DTD and leave late that afternoon.

The forcast still says rain for SWW. Luke hates rain but I will have ponchos and an umbrella so hopefully he can manage. I wonder what that will do to the crowds and the characters tho.

:woohoo::woohoo: for 2 days until Disney and only 1 day until your vacation officially starts. I hope your trip is magical and full of fun. Can't wait to meet up with you guys.:thumbsup2

Happy Birthday to Kara!

Anakin wouldn't eat poptars either. He is stuck in the same breakfast pattern. Apples, cheese, and milk, sometimes bacon.

We have an ADR on Wednesday morning for breakfast when you arrive! Grumpy has requested to eat at his favorite Disney breakfast spot. (They have apples and bacon, no cheese, but they do have milk. So Anakin will be A-ok there!)

If we hit a park on Wednesday we are going to try to hit MK, to say hello to Lidian. Maybe we will see each other there too?!

We were at SWW last year or it was the year before where it rained. The old Hunchback theater where they hold the Celebrity shows got flooded where we were sitting, lol. It did affect the character meet and greets outdoors. The storm didn't last long, maybe an hour? Then the sun came out and it was business as usual at SWW.

Hope you're having a great trip! Heard we were both at MK Wednesday, sorry that our paths didn't cross!

Can't wait to hear all about your trip!!

Lidian, me too. We were only there for a couple of hours. Our day started at 3am! Will be starting a TR sometime in the near future, just got home around 4 this morning. Today, my day has been filled with laundry and dealing with the aftermath of our trip... will explain in my tr.
