we left on 12/22 and returned on 12/29...it was very peacfull at WDW through 12/25...on 12/26 the parks started getting busier earlier in the mornings...we always were at the parks when the gates opened...

we did:

MK on 12/23-walked on all rides...10 to 15 minute wait...did alien adventure, space mountain, buzz lightyear, winnie the pooh, small world, pirates of the carabean, and the jungle cruise all before noon...

MGM on 12/24-walked right on to RNR and then turned around and went on it again...then TOT and back to RNR for a fast pass...time to eat...we then went to who wants to be a millionaire...backlot tours...and watched the parade...then went to indiana jones show and then to drew carey...

EPCOT ON 12/25-did all of the front right hand side of park and inoventions all before noon and then walked the showcase and ate around the worlds...beaver tail in canada...awesome...hot cocoa too...crepe in france...funnel cake....then to china to have fried rice and egg rolls...really good food..

MK ON 12/26- really busy...went on rides we liked most and then tried some that we didn't go on....did a lot of lazy rides this day...and shopping...

EPCOT ON 12/27-did front left side and then went back to the showcase again...had to do some eating before we left the park..

AK ON 12/28- pretty busy went on the Kilimonjaro safari and the dinasour ride first and then we walked around and shopped...ate lunch and left the park at noon...good day to lay out in the sun...

only ate counter service and was ready for a good meal by the time we got home...it was in the high 60's the first three days and then down into the middle 50's...nice sweatshirt and pants weather...

thank you everyone for the help in planning this trip...we had a wonderful time and the kids want to go back again :)....

Thanks for posting ... I was wondering what the crowds were like this year.

Thanks for the review. One of these days I want to go to WDW at Christmas!

Great trip report. Thanks for taking the time to post this.

I just have two questions, though: Did you have children with you or was this an all adult trip? Did you stay onsite or offsite and where?

Thanks for taking the time to post this?

In reply to your post nativetxn, I went with my two children 13 and 15, They had a wonderful time and would like to go back again. We stayed off site at the Caribe Royale Hotel which is located on the main drag to WDW, All you had to do was take a right out of the parking lot and you were on the disney property within 5 minutes. We rented a car so we could do downtown disney at night.

The Caribe Royale Hotel is beautiful, we spent time off and on at the pool which is gorgeous. The water slide is geared to smaller kids however. They have a spa area and work out area also. Saw a few people working out, but not me this was a vacation.

The breakfast buffet was great. They had two kinds of fruit, yogurt, three kinds of cereal, milk, juices, coffee, hot cocoa, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, grits, cocoa wheats, then they switched off and on with pancakes, french toast, bacon, ham, and sausage. Was an excellent way to start the day. Found out that if we ate this big breakfast we didn't eat as much at the parks.

The rooms were good sized we had a one bedroom suite with two queen beds in the bedroom and a couch bed in the living room. We had a microwave and refrigerator, they also had an iron and a blow dryer in the room.

No complaints thats for sure on this trip. Even though we didn't do as much on the second days to MK and EPCOT we did relax and people watch. Sometimes thats more fun than doing the rides.

Thanks for all the help in preparing this wonderful trip.
