it just strikes me as funny that those alligators are in the middle of the sidewalk at POFQ. the first thing i thought is, "i wonder how many drunk people have ran right into those things coming back from PI and said, "oh, excuse me, sir." probably because i tend to run into inanimate objects when i've had too many adult beverages!

Subbing in. I love all your castle Picture! I have only read day 1 so far but It looks good! Just wondering did you cry when you saw the castle lite for the first time... I was spoiled because I watched Samantha Brown and they showed it... I sat and cried watching it on TV. My DD13 said that she would not be seen with me if I was to cry, once we got to WDW. I was good I kept the tears of happiness to a minimum.

Yea I was a little nervous having my dad's camera out, but it was pretty easy and didn't go overboard I think if we had done it a few times I might have gotten some really good pics

Now that I have taken 3 years to finish a 6 day TR and have lost all my readers .....here we go!!

We went back to MGM to get some more R&R riding before we had to leave.

We also rode ToT I think 3 times in a row b/c the line was so short!

We were headed over to the Wilderness Lodge for a late lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

they had just watered them so the big guy looked like he was taking a leak.....it was pretty humrous....maybe you had to be there. But maybe Jordan could lead him to a quiet, good flushing, clean restroom

Still looks the same as a few days ago....but still beautiful

Once again I have no food porn, but I wasn't to thrilled with this restaurant.

For appy's we ordered the Western Chips and Dip (which I was very excited about) and the Cheese and Sausage Plate. Now let me just say the queso was nacho cheese sauce with tomato and green peppers or chili's in it . It was ok but....really??? Nacho Cheese Sauce? ***NOTE to self....do not ever order this at the $8.50 menu price*** The plate was good but how can you really mess up cutting cheese, sausage and crackers?

For entree's I had the rainbow trout, with which I decided I wasn't really a trout lover. And the MAIN reason why I booked this place was for hubby to have the canyon skillet, he ordered the cheeseburger .....A CHEESEBURGER!!! You can get these things anywhere, I just didn't understand and I thought I had done so well to get an ADR here b/c it would be something he loved! And he did like the cheeseburger, but not anything special, I tried not to let the disgust show in my face . For dessert the Apple Caramel Pie with ice cream that I used to eat the Kahlua-flavored Chocolate Cake....HOLY COW it was good!! Definitely made the lunch go up a notch on the scale.

I love this too....I wanted to follow it all the way and take pictures, but Matt was not being to patient with me

I was trying to explain to him that it went all the way out to the pool...and that the giant waterfall was made from that spring ....he wasn't really wanting to humor me

We took this pic for a tribute to Matt's first visit (see first page) he was even trying to climb up on the rail again, but realized later we were on the wrong side , he being boy didn't want to go back to take another picture, this one would do fine and that we would be back one day and could do it then!!! Woooooo Hooooooo I was excited

I went and staked out an AWESOME spot for the castle lights show

I wanted to watch it on our last night and actually watch wishes in front of the castle, we watched it several times in part but not actually in the FRONT of the castle.

Let me just say....IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!

Now, my main goal on this light show is to get a photopass pic of us in front of the castle with the lights. I got chatty with this photopass photographer, and I swore I would never forget his name but it has passed me for now , but I remember his face like it was yesterday and would know him if I saw him on the street.

He seemed to have no idea that he would have to go 'backstage' just before the show started. Remember this is a MVMCP night, so I had a feeling about this b/c of the night before, and kept asking him if he would be there, he kept telling me he would and then the girl came over!!! I thought I was going to cry.

I couldn't believe we had been here all week and had never taken the time to get this picture. He talked to her for awhile, and then another one of his 'friends' came over, and I think they were basically telling him he HAD to go in. I was getting VERY antsy, but then I heard him say...."I'm going to take this picture for her and then I'll be down there".....YES!!!!! YES!!!!! YES!!!!!

I was SO excited, and he was SO sweet. I had already given him my card and he even had me and Matt change sides so we could stand there and watch the show but once the castle was lit could turn around and he would be on the 'correct' side for the picture. He kept telling me it probably wouldn't come out perfect, b/c they usually use tripods for these pictures but I didn't care! It was so nice of him to stay and take these. I did fill out a form for CM's that go above and beyond the call of duty and I do hope he got praised for it and not in trouble b/c he made my day!

So even though they aren't perfect they are probably some of my FAVORITE pictures from the trip

So that was my wonderful pixie dust from this trip and it was a great note to end on!! And I think you can tell I had gotten a little misty eye'd in those pics

I'm sorry guys but I HAVE to go to bed now but wishes is up next and I promise I will get it up soon!!!

You aren't the only one who takes a long time to do a TR, either. I put up pictures about once a week, one section of a trip day at a time, and that stretches a five day trip into forever.

I'd love to stay at Poly someday, too. We almost always go over there just to walk around.

Your parade pictures were good. As I've said before, the castle was beautiful in lights, both in person and in pictures.

I was on a roll ....that is one thing about the way I've done this TR I might have 45 days inbetween updates but I'll post the whole day!

WCC was a fun place our girl picked on Matt more than myself....but there were some large tables around us that they were really picking on....I'm sure breakfast is good just about anywhere
