We had lunch at BOG (I snagged a reservation about a week before our trip) 6/13/16. We have not eaten there before. We did not preorder (tried to do it on the app but it kept crashing). Our ressie was at 10:45. We got in line about 1030. The line was not too long but OMG was it hot. They had water for people waiting in line to drink. We probably waited outside 10-15 minutes (felt a lot longer in the heat) and then probably about 10 minutes inside. We ordered with a person - some were sent to a kiosk. DD ordered the roasted turkey sandwich without the dressing. that was our only special order.
We went to the dark room as dd called it (I guess it was the rose room). We were kind of by the rose but off to the side. The family who sat at the table right in front of the rose I'm sure regretted their decision. Everyone was squeezing behind their table or standing in front of their table to take a picture. Lots of flashes going off while they were eating. One person asked them if they could move so she could get a better picture
. They said they would move when they were done eating.
Our food came quickly (dd and DH got the same thing, I got the ham and cheese). We should have split a meal - omg - those sandwiches were huge and tons of fries. DD couldn't eat the bread due to her braces. The bread was good (yes, I helped her by eating some of It
). We loved the delivery of the meal and our server was super nice and let us take lots of pictures -her included). Loved having the drink station in the same room. I had the chocolate cupcake for dessert and it was good. I should have skipped it though. But I love my cupcakes!
We thought the food was good, service was good and DH said he would return. We visited the other rooms and decided we really liked the dark room
the best.
We will definitely return. DH said he would like to try dinner next time but would do lunch as well.
