Our band made...!!!!!!!

Today the seventh grade MMS Eagles went to the "Perfomance Evaulation Festival Band" at the Clatyon County Performing Arts center"!
We played three prepared pieces for a set of three judges who rated us on seven counties, and we got the following scores:
"Young America March-
score:1-(superior)
Aztec Sunrise-
score:1 (superior)
Spectrum-
score-1 (superior)

Which averages to an overall superior rating of One on our prepared pieces-superior, the best possible score.
We also had to sight read a piece for 6 minutes and then play it for one judge that rated it on seven catogries, and we also got a Superior rating of one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which means we get an engraved gold plaque to hang in the band room ,and each band member gets a gold medel!

It was the first time in eight years of MMS history that any mband has bought home an average one-superoir yet alone a4 starghit ones!
It was also cool considering it was our first judgeed performance in our band career since sixth graders can't go to Festival!
Woooo- Hoooo! Go MMS Eagles Seventh Grade Festival Band!!!

i wish our band was that good but the ppl in our band dont care and dont pay attention so well never be that good we just get yelled at alot owell congradulations

Cool our band placed first in the Teen Art's Festival Here. We played Toccata for Band and the Chorale from Jupiter. Which are great songs. I even have the small French Horn Solo in Toccata for Band. What do you play?
