My partner and I just got married in Epcot on Sunday. We were in Canada with those beautiful gardens. Our pictures will be incredible. If anyone is on the fence about having their ceremony in Disney don't be. Everything was absolutely perfect. I was a little worried about random tourists saying not so nice things but it was just the opposite. We got lots of congratulations from strangers and zero disparaging remarks.

I highly recommend using Maria Roncari with A Page in Time as your officiant. She really makes the ceremony personal and meaningful. Everyone at the wedding including big straight rugby guys said they teared up and it was the most emotional wedding they had ever been to. :)

It sounds like you had a wonderful ceremony. Congratulations!! The gardens of the Canada pavilion are a beautiful setting for a wedding.

congrats! hope there are photos. where in gardens in canada did they do the ceremony? in front of le cellier?
:thumbsup2

Congratulations!

Can't wait to read a full report...and photos!!!

Congratulations, would love to see some pictures. Also great to hear that people were respectful and supportive of you. Sounds like a wonderful ceremony.

We are leagally married here in Boston. I wish we would have had a ceremony at Epcot (it was our second date, and our favorite place in the whole world). I would love to get married in the gardens in France over by the perfume shop.

Congrats and cant wait to see pics.

Question, did you have to go through Disney in order to do this? I didnt think they handled same sex marriages/ceremonies? Maybe we can do a vow renewal on our 15th or something at Epcot.

That is so awesome! We saw some people taking wedding photos very early in the morning in Italy when we were doing the EPCOT segway tour and I thought it was so great to do that is Disney! Congrats! Looking forward to your pictures!

Congratulations! Was it legally recognized? We live in a state that doesn't have marriage equality. It would be awesome to get married this summer on our vacation, but Florida doesn't have marriage equality either. This led me to wonder about France or Canada in Epcot.

Congrats again!

Sounds like the ideal place to have a ceremony!!

I'm so glad to hear your day was amazing. DisneyWorld seems like a perfect place to have a ceremony, even from the UK.
Would love to see some of your lovely photos as well.
Congrats to you both!

Awesome! We're doing the same thing! Our ceremony is also going to be at the Canada pavilion. We're doing the official paperwork here in DC and the ceremony at WDW! So excited!

We'll be legally married here in NY, and our wedding will be in WDW May 2014! Can't wait!
