We started today by getting ready to get to MK by 8ish. We walked leisurely down Main Street but were stopped by the rope in the castle. At this point Erin inexplicably got very warm and surly as well. At 9 since we were right there, we went right on the first Dumbo and rode the carousel after. DH gave Erin a sudafed since we think her sinuses were bothering her because of the room AC. I did not know Toontown didn't open until 10, so we did the indy cars. Ryan LOVED this, he loves to "drive" anything. Then everyone else did the teacups twice--I've given up on stomach-churners. We went on the first Barnstormer when Toon Town opened and I"m glad we didn't have to wait--what a short ride! We let the kids explore Minnie's house and Mickey's house and plan on the playground stuff, then took the train to Frontierland. The Splash Mt. PS time interfered with our lunch PS so we cut over to LIberty Square and only waited 10 min. for Haunted Mansion. We had a 12:30 PS at Tony's, so we headed that way, stopping for the noon Sword in the Stone ceremony. Erin was getting surly again. The skies were darkening so we went to lunch, and it poured while we were in there. My plan after lunch was to get a Mickey Mouse watch at the "clock" place--a $30-40 one, not the real expensive ones. I got a $30 one with a red band. We also poked around in the exhibition hall, the camera exhibit, the pix of MK under construction, etc. When we got out of shopping I realized it was 2:30 and hardly anyone was lined up for the parade, which we had NOT planned on attending--but I grabbed a good curb spot as soon as I made sure it was on (the rain had stopped but it was a little wet). I'm glad we got to see it, since it will change soon. Erin didn't feel like participating even though she was given the chance, but Kelly dance with the LIttle Mermaid float and drummed on the Lion King float. We left MK at 4. Our original plan was to return to MK and do spectro, but I decided against it--we had seen the fireworks, and spectro isn't going anywhere next year. We went back to BWV--Bill called his office and I fell asleep for 45 minutes and probably could have stayed in bed all night! We went over to Epcot. We got the girls the passports and we got Mexico, Norway and China duly explored. I had read a Disney magazine article on World Showcase so I knew what I wanted to hit. On the way over I got a beavertail, and I also got a suicide margarita in Mexico. We rode El Rio de Tiempo and Maelstrom. We watched the 8:10 ToN and a couple of puppets touched the kids, and Kelly got to dance with one.
We stayed for Illuminations and went back to BWV.
