our annual trip to the dark side and dear friends first time

This year we took our dear friend in the place of our oldest DS and we decided to leave by midnight so that we could miss a lot of the traffic on Sunday morning.
We got thru worst part which I think is Alanta GA without any mishaps and finally made it to the hotel (Best Western plus universal inn) and we were way to early and since it was lunch time I decided to go orlando steak and ale to let youngest DS and dear friend try the BBQ ribs they have and as usual they were great and after a long lunch we went back to the hotel and sat in the lobby for a minute and was told our room was ready at 2:30 and we took our luggage to the room and we all just hung out in the room and relaxed for the rest of the day.

Day two and three were about the same except we decided to go explore a little and dear friend and wife went to the car to look for something and dear friend found $50.00 in the parking lot which was great cause she really didn't have much spending money cause we asked her to go at the last minute.
Day 3
We all got up early so that everyone could take advantage of the free breakfast which wasn't too bad but not great either lol.
After breakfast we took the shuttle to universal and when we got in we went to one of the shops to get DS and dear friend a lanyard and was told by the cashier to do despicable me first which we did and dear friend loved it and we told her it was a good ride but she hadn't seen anything yet .
Next ride we decided to ride was the transformers and after that we went to the Simpsons and then to men in black

I am horrified that your friend kept the $50 she found in the parking lot! I'm sure the actual owner of the money noticed it missing at some point and may have called and inquired at the front desk about it. It wasn't your friends money to take. And before someone mentions it - $50 is very different from a penny, quarter, or $5 bill (although I'd turn in $5 also) so yes, maybe picking up a quarter is OK - $50 doesn't seem to be. It was surely missed by its owner.

My teenage son finds money at school quite often. It's only a few dollars here and there (I think $20 one time). He always turns it in to the school office. At one point the counselor gave him a gift certificate b/c he was so impressed that my son would turn in the money. I didn't even know he was doing this until he brought home the gift certificate one day. I am very proud of him.

First of all I should have said yes she did report it to the front desk and waited till the end of the trip to spend the money and what is equally disturbing is how you can judge someone like you just did that horrifies me

Day 4
We all got up early and had breakfast at the hotel and took the 8 am shuttle to CityWalk and went straight to IOA and we're surprised that they started letting people in at 8:45 but no rides where open yet except early entry to Harry Potter.
So we had to wait a few minutes but letting dear friend look around and she thought it was beautiful and told her it wasn't all of it cause we were at the front of the park.
When everything did open we started at superhero island riding spiderman and after that DW and DS rode the hulk while me and dear friend waited.
Next DS wanted to ride Dr Doom and talked me and DW to ride it with him and we did but not before DW almost chickened out cause she was terrified but the tm told her it was over quick and it worse when you had to wait a long time in line thinking about it and when we rode it DW loved it and now says she will ride it from now on.

Aww........glad your friend enjoyed it all........it's such a spectacular place isn't it........what's not to love!!
