We will be going to WDW 9/30-10/5 this year (during the Food & Wine Fest @ Epcot!!), and I'm trying to sort through 5 nights on the DDP! This will be our 1st time on the DDP, and are so excited about all the possibilities...that's why the decision of only picking 5 TS is so hard!! :rotfl:

Let me give you some specifics...our trip consists of 4 adults...no kiddos yet!
Me (28) many, many trips to WDW, including our honeymoon!
DH (28) 3rd trip to WDW
DBIL (25) will be 1st trip to WDW :yay:
DSIL (23) will be 1st trip to WDW :cheer2:

My husband and I are very adventurous eaters-love to try everything...and would probably have a few different ADR's if my my DBIL and DSIL were not joining us on this trip...as my DBIL is a VERY PICKY eater.

All that to say...here are my list of potential TS ADR's so far...what do you think?

1. 'Ohanna @ Poly (either timed w/ wishes while in rest. or watch Wishes on beach, or high-tail it back to MK for Wishes, since DBIL&SIL have never seen it from Main Street--what would you do?)
2. Le Cellier @ Epcot
3. Wolfgang Puck Cafe @ DTD
4. Mama Melrose w/ Fantasmic Dinner Package (out of all the times we've been to WDW, still have never seen Fantasmic...always too long of a line-this will ensure good seats!)
5. Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare @ GF (this will be on the morning of the day we decide to "snack around the world" at the F&WF...so we won't want a big dinner that night) :thumbsup2

Pleast let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions??
TIA

I personally love Le Cellier--we ate there for the first time last August and will be there many times over our next three trips. DBIL can order his steak without any of the sauces--my DH did it with no problem (although after having a bite of my filet, wished he hadn't skipped the sauce).

It's been a number of years since we did the 1900 Park Fare breakfast, but I remember it being really good. DH isn't much of a breakfast eater.

I know taking extra time to eat a sit-down meal isn't everyones cup of tea, but we personally love it. Any thoughts to sharing meals and using the credits for another wonderful meal? You get so much food on the DDP its pretty easy to split the meals.

1. 'Ohanna @ Poly --I'd go to Kona and then high-tail it to Main Street. View is just not the same so far away. Also, for all adults, we prefer Kona food over Ohana. (although Ohana is great too)
2. Le Cellier @ Epcot (good choice)
3. Wolfgang Puck Cafe @ DTD (we usually prefer the counter service of this)
4. Mama Melrose --Have never eaten here, can't comment
5. Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare @ GF (If you are going to Epcot anyway-how about Spoodles for breakfast? They have a great Medit. skillet breakfast.

When we did DDP, we ate dinner at Spoodles and this was the best value of all with an adult atmosphere and tasty drinks. Enjoy wherever you go.

all of your choices look great! another good buffet is Boma, there are things for the picky and for the adventurous. looks great, good luck!

Great to know about ordering sauces on the side at Le Cellier.
I love eating sit down meals...but when we haven't had the dining plan before it's been hard to do more than one or two per trip. Having the DDP will be such a treat. I have thought about sharing meals...all the menus look so good, it's hard to decide if I'm willing to compromise and share!! :)

Thanks for the suggestions tortoni! I am definitely going to look into Kona too...the menu looks great. I picked 'Ohana for the fun atmosphere...but after reading several posts, I'm thinking maybe without kids, Kona would be better. Also, I think I'm leaning more towards getting to MK in time for Wishes...I want them to experience it up close and personal, and I think that's the best way to do it! We're planning on doing WGP Express CS too--I do love that place!
I've looked at Spoodles breakfast, and it looks good, but 1900 Park Fare seems to be a better value for breakfast.

Thanks heatherlynn! I really want to try Boma!! I think it looks great, I'm just really scared that DBIL won't be able to find anything. Are there "American Food" choices too, or just the African cuisine?

For us, we do all our TS at dinner. We figure we're getting more bang out of our buck. :thumbsup2 But yes, your choices look yummy!

I liked Boma but dh and db did not. If you a meat and potatoes type of person then this is not the place for you, but if you like trying different types of food especially ones that have a lot of different spices(not spicy) then you will love it!

'Ohana @ Poly - Great choice. We (all adults) love it! It is a must do for us. Some of the food is great and I really enjoy the atmosphere. We also enjoy Wishes from the beach. I think it is actually a better view of the fireworks. You can hear the music that is piped in to the poly beach if you position yourself somewhat near a speaker. LeCellier - I have been there once. Seemed like an average steak house to me. But I am thinking about trying this one again because of the rave reviews on this board. I have not been to your other selections but I will say that I am a huge Cape May Clambake fan. Of course I am disappointed because they are now serving cold peel and eat shrimp (if someone has info about this I would appreciate it) they used to be steamed.

Spoodles/Boardwalk and Raglan Road/Downtown-Pleasure Island. Both places had great food and service. After dinner at Spoodles you could walk around the Boardwalk and/or after dinner at Raglan, Pleasure Island is just a few steps away.:)

sounds great! me and my husband are fans of Concourse steak house. THey have really great steaks!
