MY DD (aged 10) and I will be at WDW from August 4 -13. We are planning on either granola bars of a quick food court breakfast, a counter service lunch, and sit down dinner each day. We have the following ADRs - Some of the restaurants we done before; others we have tried for other meals, and a few were trying to pick something new - I have tried to indicate the "new places":
8/4 - Boma
8/5 - Crystal Palace (Never done dinner there)
8/6 - 'Ohannas
8/7 - Whispering Canyon Cafe (Never done dinner there)
8/8 - 1990 Park Fare (Cinderella) - This and Boma are our favorite buffets in WDW
8/9 - Garden Grill (Never eaten there)
8/10 - Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Package - never eaten there - we love HBD but wanted to try something different)
8/11 - LeCellier
8/12 - Chef Mickey's

Also, I am looking for CS suggestions in both MGM and the EPCOT World Showcase for lunch. We have never had good luck with MGM counter sevice. EPCOT we have mainly eaten in the TS restaurants. DD is an adventerous eater who likes just about any cusine (in some ways I am pickier than she is :) ). We are on the dining plan but don't let that influence any suggestions.

Thanks for any suggestions

We do the same thing for breakfast, usually a quick bagel or toast and my DD6 has some dry cereal for breakfast and we're ready to go! We love Park Faire also for dinner-our new buffet fav. :goodvibes We ate at Boma's Sept. 2004 and I liked it but my mom and DD didn't really. Others rave about it. Ditto O'hanas-though this time none of us liked it well enough to do again-We really like Kona Cafe now-it doesn't have the games like Ohanas but the food is excellent. My DD6 is already talking about having "those sticky chicken wings" when we go. Haven't tried GG since they changed. Haven't tried WC, CM, CP, or MM. (I guess we need to try more places- :rotfl2:

We are dining at Le Cellier, Park Faire (dinner), 50's Primetime, Kona, and San Angel Inn (I'm probably going to change that to either Alfredos(new)or Teppanyaki-been there, love that!)

As fars as CS goes, MGM is tough though we actually liked Toy Story Pizza Planet. At Epcot we had breakfast at Electric Umbrella our last day Sept. 05 and DD liked it. She had the french toast sticks. We like the Cantina de San Angel (we got there early enough to grab a table for Illuminations-great view) good food, and plenty of it. We also liked the Yakitori House (don't know if it's on the DDP) I hear Yorkshire County Fish Shop is good-they always seem to have a line.

Have fun and happy dining-let's us know about your choices when you get back. :thanks:

Dizneydaz - Thanks for the ideas. The fish shop does usually seem busy when you walk by - I wonder is that the same spot that sells the beer or is that the next stand over?

any others???

You might like the Tangerine Cafe at Epcot. Very, very good.:thumbsup2

The beer place and the fish and chips shop are 2 different places. The fish and chips CS is a window right after Rose and Crown. The beer stand is a free standing place before Rose and Crown.. based on heading towards France from Canada.

We really enjoy the fish and chips. We find a nice bench in the garden area of the UK pavillion. It makes for a quiet break.

Another vote for Tangerine Cafe...with all the fine TS restaurants in Epcot, we still find ourselves at TC!!!!

It looks like the fish and chips stand and Tangerine cafe for the 2 days we will be at EPCOT. DD and I both love fish and Chips and the menu looks very good for the Tangerine cafe. Anyone have suggestions for MGM. I find that to be the hardest park of the 4 theme parks to eat at.
