We just made our ADR last night for our 10th Wedding Anniversary trip to Disneyworld from August 15th - 23rd. We stayed at the CBR for our honeymoon and we're excited this time to be able to take the kids back there.

Here are the reservations we've made so far, but I could really use some advice on the one day we have left open.

First of all I was incredibly disappointed that I could not get any reservations at Chef Mickeys & Le Cellier (two of my favourite restaurants). I could get an 8:50 pm timeslot for Chef Mickeys but with a 2 year old, I don't think that's very realistic...or smart for that matter. Does anyone know if they open up more slots or what you see is what you get?

Anyway, here are my ADR so far:
Monday 15th - Crystal Palace
Tuesday 16th - Planet Hollywood
Wed. 17th - 1900 Park Fare
THurs. 18th - Whispering Canyon Cafe
Friday 19th - 50's Primetime Cafe
Sat. 20th -
Sun. 21st - Ohana's Breakfast with Stitch
Mon. 22nd - Rainforest Cafe - Animal Kingdom

So for the 20th we don't have anything booked yet and we were thinking of going to CRT but we already have 1900 Park Fare that has the princesses and our DS (age 7) won't be too thrilled about having too many Princess meals. Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your help!

Anyway, here are my ADR so far:
Monday 15th - Crystal Palace-We have done breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and enjoy it. Food is good, typical buffet but our kids really like the character interaction here. They get to line up and parade thru the restaurant.
Tuesday 16th - Planet Hollywood-It has been a long time since we have eaten here. Don't remember too much but we did not have any complaints.
Wed. 17th - 1900 Park Fare- We enjoy this meal. The food is good and the characters are great. The Stepsisters are hilarious. Tell your son to watch out. He may be engaged to one of them before the night is over.
THurs. 18th - Whispering Canyon Cafe- Try the canyon skillet. It is delicious and plentiful. Have your kids ask for ketchup. Just make sure you have alot of room on your table :thumbsup2
Friday 19th - 50's Primetime Cafe - Another good one. I always get the pot roast which is delicious. Fun atmosphere also.
Sat. 20th -
Sun. 21st - Ohana's Breakfast with Stitch- Good breakfast and fun characters
Mon. 22nd - Rainforest Cafe - Animal Kingdom- Atmosphere is fun. Not one of our favorite spots though. The food is way overpriced (& not on the dining plan) We actually enjoyed TRex better even though they are owned by the same company.

I would keep trying to snag a Chef Mickey ADR. People cancel all the time. I usually check 2-3 times a day if I'm looking for one.
Ohana for dinner is a good choice (but difficult to get also)
We liked Chefs de France, Coral Reef, Boma, and Tusker House for dinners.

I'd do Tusker House for breakfast with the characters. We actually enjoy it more than Chef Mickeys. It's great food, a little calmer, and the characters seem to take their time.

Also not a fan of planet hollywood but the rest look good to me!

Happy early anniversary! My DH and I celebrated our 10th at WDW too (but without the kids! ;)).
One thing I wanted to mention is that I'm pretty sure the 1900 Parc Fare is Cinderella only (with other Cinderella characters, but no other princesses). If you're wanting to hit multiple princesses with one stop, you might try CRT or Akershus in Norway. That said, your DS might enjoy the 1900 PF better because there is at least Prince Charming and the Stepmother and Stepsisters are so in-character & funny!

I agree with Sassy that you should keep checking the online ADR system for cancellations at any place you're trying to get into. There's still lots of time between now and August for people to cancel and it could definitely happen that a spot opens up. Even when you get to WDW, you could keep checking if it's important to you -- I've heard of people making multiple reservations for the same day to give themselves options and then they decide that day which one they want to keep (not that I endorse this....:sad2:...hopefully they at least cancel what the decide to skip!).

As far as what to do on the 20th, do you have plans for a particular park that day? Or are you doing a resort day? We try to plan our ADRs based on where we intend to be, so that we don't waste a lot of time in transit. Of course, that's always a little tricky with other factors to consider (crowd levels, weather, etc.) that might change our plans and then we've got the ADRs so we end up there anyway.

You could try Tusker House for breakfast to see Mickey. The food is really good and you can try Jungle Juice.

Le Cellier is 1 TS credit for lunch and 2TS credits for dinner.

Using the online system makes it so much easier to see if something opens up.
